Spent many happy hours around there when I was a kid,thanks grandad for having the patience to take me.
Nice presentation, I don’t think many people realise how the Irwell was used for the ship canal , also how the old Bridgewater canal bridge was changed into the canal swing bridge, I found some of these old photos interesting, so thanks. Eccles
