I am Montreal, from the Bay Area in San Francisco originally and thinking about moving to Denver......you guys are so helpful with these videos!!! Thanks I will get in touch when i am out there looking
I have a question about moving. I’m wanting to Denver from Ohio. I’m looking for a studio in the Cap Hill area. I have enough for deposit and rent, but between viewings and proof of income (since I’m not currently living there) I’m having difficulty. Any suggestions?
This video couldn’t have come at any better timing! I just got a verbal offer for a job recently in Lone Tree waiting on HR to send the written offer! I’m super excited to finally move to CO!!!!!!
I move to Denver next week, from Italy, expat coming home. I love this channel! Hopefully I will be in a position to buy very soon. I also work in a tech company! I'm 28F. I'm not interested in dating though, lol!
Great content for the young professionals! How about a video for the older (late 30s, early 40’s) single professionals - aka Me? Places that are a little quieter and not so “City”?
@@livingindenverpropertybros So, have to say, I’m 41 and don’t want “hot spots”. I’m more of a laid back, knit on the porch kind of person. I’ll be working in the Englewood/Littleton area. I would love something affordable with as little commute as possible. Would Castle Rock fit that scenario?
Moving from Utah to Denver soon for a new job and im nervous. Only goi0ng out there with my car and my Husky. Im hoping things works out!! looks like a beautiful place to live.
Yo can you guys suggest a barber that can fade well? I’m just moved to green valley ranch like 3 weeks ago and didn’t realize the only thing here is a Supercuts but I’d be willing to drive 30-45 for a good cut.
could you guys make a video for neighbour hoods in Colorado or nearby that are appropriate for couples looking to settle down? We got pets too, would like somewhere near nature (beach/forest) rather than city.. but also not too far from the city! Houses, with backyards!! please, it would be amazing!
if you’re in your 20s 30s and single you want to live far away from the ‘burbs. live in Denver 1) cap hill 2) uptown 3) south Broadway 4) lodo/union station 5) lohi
Love the videos. I’m curious about the process in which realtors take to help military members using the VA loan. How is it different compared to getting conventional loans?
Thanks! Our lender is very versed in VA loans and we are as well on the real estate side. We help a lot of veterans and the process is very similar to a conventional loan. Let us know if you'd like to get in touch with our lender!
Your videos are great. I am considering moving to Denver and want to take a week vacation to visit and see if I like it before moving. Do you have a recommendation of things to do during that week? I don't want to do touristy things. I want to experience the city the way locals would.
Live in New Orleans and considering moving back to San Diego or to Denver. You guys keep it super real and informative. Thank you, you may get a grammatically correct email from me soon
Hey Kyle, we love the Crescent City but glad to know you're considering a move out west. We'd be glad to help with any questions you have about making the move to Denver.
How about neighborhoods for Millenials in their early 30's that say "this video is funny af" LOL We're going to check it out in a month, just sold our home in FL, so emailing you guys soon :) Also, the Highlands sound like it for us at least in Denver, still undecided, talk to you guys soon!
What are the price ranges for 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom apartments in these areas? Also, are there any other areas (Colorado springs or near there for example) that are good for young professionals? And all of these require a car (4 wheel drive) correct?
Typically those range from about $1300+ depending on location on condition. There are definitely some other places, these are just a few that were worth a mention. Not all of them require a 4-wheel drive. Eventually, you'll want to get one but not necessary immediately. If you're living in the mountains, that's a different story.
If we have two high schoolers that are more artistic, rather than suburban football, any of these neighborhoods have a good high school? Most likely going to rent at first because of the crazy market.
A lot of Denver are high schools actually put a big focus on the arts. As you start diving into some local schools and reading reviews you'll be able to find out which ones put a heavy emphasis there. I like using niche.com as a place to start your research.
South Denver is going to be the hot spot for you. Virginia Village, Harvey Park, Belcaro, and University Hills. There are more but those are the first ones that come to mind.
Hey Mary Ann, thanks for the question and for watching the channel. There are lots of senior living options in and around Denver depending on the type of community you're interested. There's everything from 55+ only resort style communities with golf, activities and other amenities to mixed aged communities with options for low maintenance condo's, duplex casita's, or regular single family homes. We'd be glad to help you sort through the best options for your lifestyle, interests and budget.
@@livingindenverpropertybros Chicago has disgusting muggy summers and grey winters. We're still in the beginning stages of looking for jobs buy I'm feel really hopeful!
I would check out this website called www.HotPads.com. It's a great resource for looking at rentals. You can filter by your price range and see everything all over Denver that matches what works for you.
Denver's not the cheapest place to live, but it's always worth seeing what's out there. If you're looking to rent at first, try checking out this website HotPads.com. I would start there and see what you can find!
First up Lone Tree! Love Lone Tree…..just don’t come to Lone Tree if you vote Democrat. It’s in one of the most conservative counties and we don’t need it turning into a shit hole with democrat transplants. Move just north of County Line RD in Arapahoe County.

Super appreciate that!
Lone Tree is where my engineering office is. Moving there next week! Trying to decide whether to stay permanently there or in Lohi.

Ah, you're still a young professional! All those places still apply. Just to throw in some variety, you may really like Castle Rock as well.

What street is that around 13:00 ? Looks nice
Looks like that is in Park Hill but I’m not sure what street exactly.

How is living in Littleton and travel to work at Englewood?
Easy! You'll either take 470 or Hampden most likely depending on where specifically in Littleton you'll be living.

Are any of these areas doable for the car-free among us ? I am definitely not willing to buy a car.
Definitely! Just stay close to downtown Denver. Lower Highlands would be a great option.
@@livingindenverpropertybros super thanks. I'm excited to bike and learn the transit there! Ready to say good riddance to humid Midwest summers.
