Sass Pordoi Panoramic View - Dolomites - Italy

Sass Pordoi is a well-known panoramic peak, can be reached by cable car from the Passo Pordoi mountain pass.
A cable car overcomes the 700 metres of altitude difference between the Passo Pordoi (2,239 m a.s.l.) and Mt. Sass Pordoi. On the top there’s the Rif. Maria mountain hut.
Panoramic view from the sun terrace includes the Catinaccio Massif, the Alpe di Siusi and Mt. Sassolungo in the west and north-west, the Val di Fassa valley and Mt. Marmolada in the south, as well as the Sella Group with Mt. Piz Boè, its highest peak, in the east.
The Passo Pordoi mountain pass represents one of the four Dolomite passes of the Sella Ronda ski circuit.
