You don't realize how much stuff you have until you move. My dad told me he leased a house in TX in 4 bedroom 2.5 bath 2400 sq ft for $1600 from 2008 to 2010. He said times have changed. It would take getting use to when you live on your own than start living with people again.

You can check with some grocery stores or liquor stores and they will give you boxes. Ps. Use extra towels for packing kitchen things in boxes as well.
This - the liquor stores in NC are glad to give them away.
The Rowlett area has tons of free boxes on marketplace every week
You can also get free boxes at liquor stores! They are on the smaller side but they get the job done!

To pack your kitchen utensils get some white packing paper, Walmart should have it. Put the paper down, one piece, then put a bunch of the utensils wrap them up mark on the outside of the paper which utensils are in there.
The Uhaul boxes are cheaper than what other places you mentioned.
I love cats that have a lot of fur. My sister has one that has a lot of fur. My neighbor has so many cats they pretty much live on my yard. I go out the front porch and there's cats laying on my door mat. I have to step over them just to grab my mail. Hahah. They hang around by backyard too. It's like just make yourself at home. An elderly lady is the owner of all these cats. Hahah.
