Oh I really like this - interesting concepts. We always center things above beds & couches. I actually thought the pictures centered on the wall instead of over the bed was cool. Is it a disconcerting visual - does it really disrupt a flow / harmony or is it just unexpected and unusual. I found it random but still disciplined. Feng shui comes to mind when one thinks of design energy flow. I think that pictures over the head of a bed are an actual no no in that discipline. Design flow - visual or energy? visual vs. energy? Increasing functionality = increasing energy? The angled drawers would seem to make it easier to access them when seated at vanity. You go to the gym, you made easy work of moving bed - That nightstand has to be pretty weighty - what is that made out of? LOL! You said there was no way - then you did it.
The bed helped me out with lifting the night stand I will say hahahah
Move the bed facing the window and put the vanity on the side. It will look better

I read the nightstands fit next to the bed when you put the bed in front of the window. I would sell them get some smaller ones put the bed in front of the window cause what bothers you is the missing symmetry
