Thanks for SUBSCRIBING to the channel! Use headphones for a better experience! The H1n varies in price between $65-$100, I got mine from Amazon for $65 about a month or two ago.
You really don't know how to record ambiance sounds, or you wanted to demonstrate something. I noticed it when the truck passed by, you followed it with H1n, instead of pointing it forwards to emphasize the stereo effect. Although, very nice cinematography. Cheers! BTW I tend to avoid using headphones during field recording, simply because even a tiny bit of headphone cable movement, even touching it, can ruin the recording. It gets in the way.
The sound to value you get with the H1N is pretty insane. Even though it's like 10 (or more?) years old, this is definitley a case of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'.
What would you suggest for someone with hearing loss? I cannot wear headphones in the field I have severe hearing loss without hearing aids, is it possible to connect via bluetooth to the h1n? or connect a bluetooth transmitter to the h1n? thanks
This is a very cheap mic, relatively speaking. If you have hearing loss is I’d recommend looking at the gain levels of the device such as the H1n. If it stays just below -12db, then it’s probably set correctly. It’s a nice visual representation of what the world is sounding like around you.

I wonder how many people slowed down when you were pointing the mic at the traffic 😂
Oh a lot 😅🚔🚓
