Ohh man the latest 3 UA-cam shorts you made, I have those watches!! My 6309 turtle bezel is stuck but it runs. And yes it occasionally stops but then sometimes it goes fast. It's never serviced. The previous owner said he use to take it when he dives for abalonies back in the day. I'm glad I stumbled on your video today. Do you by any chance have a video of when you fixed your bezel? Thank you
@@AboveTheClouds87 no I didn’t make a video doing that but if I run into a stuck bezel in the future I’ll definitely make a video. Just getting started out with this channel. I have a different monetized channel (completely different subject) that’s my primary focus but I plan to keep adding videos here to try to build up this channel also. Thanks for watching. I have a new video coming out today showing my entire collection minus the 2 watches that just arrived after making that video. A new video tomorrow also.
Hey mate. I’d recommend getting this thing serviced professionally by a vintage seiko expert. It’ll last a lifetime if you get the movement seen to. I have the exact same watch and after getting it serviced it now runs like new. Keeps wayyyyy better timing than my Rolex
@@MotorsMovements I would highly recommend getting in touch with Spencer at Klein Vintage Watches. He has a UA-cam channel and you can watch numerous videos of him restoring 6309s. I’m in Australia and I send all my vintage seikos to Vintage Time Australia
@@MotorsMovements Spencer Klein is a great option for servicing vintage seikos but I hear he had an extremely long wait time as he’s backed up on work. I’ve had Time Zone Costa Mesa service a couple special vintage seikos before, really great work and reasonable turnaround. Frank definitely knows how to handle these types of watches
Why change the bezel?. It ruins the age of the watch. The bezel is still very functional.. an it belonged to his father. Changing the watch will change his fathers watch.
Used as intended and still running. Love the old Seikos!
You’re lucky to have this from your dad, thanks for making the video.
@@NexDim. thank you for watching.
It's a beautiful watch.
@@Leo-Crespi thank you! 😊
