Hardcore for me. I mean, the main properties of hardstyle are basically pitched up kicks, and tracks being more melodic. Not a fan of the former. I'd like hardstyle for the melodic angle, if it weren't that so many tracks use bland melodies. Exceptions exist as always(many shown in this vid), and there's some hardstyle tracks i really love - but if we're talking genres as a whole, hardcore any day for me. As for melodic/euphoric stuff - bring back oldschool hardtrance (hey, i can dream).
