Im starting to think that when Kenjaku said someone will inherit his will, he was talking about Yuji. Yuji is inheriting abilities that are turning him into a sorcerer that no one has ever seen. Attacking the soul directly, blood manipulation allowing him to heal in a way that seems to work with RCT, the potential for inheriting Sukunas abilities, soul swapping, being able to execute black flashes that seem to be at will with how often they happen. Yuji is starting to become the embodiment of the ultimate sorcerer. He has abilities that can only be performed by Kenjaku switching into new sorcerers bodies or Yuta by copying abilities. Yuji doesn’t need anything special like that, he’s inheriting these abilities into himself as a whole. He will be the one inheriting the true will of Kenjaku in being the one to have created the evolution of humanity.

You imply that divergent fist is the reason Yuji can attack the soul at 16:03. But that isn’t the case. Yuji, while being Sukunas vessel subconsciously became aware of the shape of his soul and could touch others souls with his blows, a rare skill that was essential in his victory against Mahito.
To be specific, he's attacking the boundary between sukuna and megumis soul, thus destabilizing sukunas connection with megumis body, and lowering his curse energy output, this wouldn't work on just anyone, it kind of only works on possessors.

I thought todo had taught yuji to surge his cursed energy output before a blow to make his attacks harder to read. I’m pretty sure yuji only uses divergent fist now as kind of a hat trick to throw people off. Like he did against Mahito in their final exchange.

Sure, Gojo, Kashimo and Higaruma are dead (no matter if Gojo comes back, for now he's dead), but Yuta is likely not dead, Kusakabe is probably not dead, and Ino may also be not dead.

My current thought is that next chapter will possibly launch us into the hein era flashback, finally revealing either yujis previous incarnation or part of sukunas backstory. Yuji awakening could be to his true power as the chosen of the black sparks or as awakening to his true soul/ incarnation kinda like how mahito required multiple black flashes to see the true essence of his soul

All of Yuji’s gaming winning black flashes come thanks to another person’s clutch move. Throughout the entirety of Sukuna’s existence it’s always been about “being selfish is the only way to get strong”. But I love how Yuji’s entire existence is the exact opposite of that. With him getting stronger thanks to other people being beside him during these big battles.

I’m still not 100% sure that Yuji has Blood Manipulation the way Choso and current-Kamo do. I think Yuji got it by eating the six remaining cursed wombs - there's an exchange between him and Choso at the end of chapter 220 where Yuji says, “Thanks […] No, I mean about your brothers” and Choso responds, “That’s OK too. They’ll live on inside you.”
I thought it was weird that Yuji said “thanks” and not “sorry”, bc I initially thought he was talking about Eso and Kechizu. But I think as part of the plan to defeat Sukuna, they needed a means of boosting Yuji so he’d stand something of a chance. I think what Choso (or the coalition, or whoever) decided was best was to have Yuji gain Blood Manipulation bc Choso and current-Kamo were there to teach him. Plus, even though Kenjaku *was* evil-Kamo at one time, he wasn’t in a Kamo body when he had Yuji - Yuji’s mom wasn’t a Kamo, or at least we have no reason to believe she was. We also don’t really have any evidence that Kenjaku could pick certain abilities he’d gained and pass them on to his children. So even though Choso and Yuji are half-brothers by way of Kenjaku, I don’t think Yuji is a Kamo and therefore didn’t inherit Blood Manipulation.
I think that the root of Yuji’s powers have something to do with being a really, really good, neutral vessel - it might even be a play on the trope of main characters being a “blank slate” for the audience to project themselves onto. At the beginning of the story, Megumi doesn’t seem to think Yuji has any noteworthy cursed energy of his own, and Yuji remarks that he’s “never seen a ghost before.” I think this vessel ability is why he was able to take on Sukuna, and now Blood Manipulation, with relative ease, and may also why he was chosen by the Black Sparks - he has no other inherent technique to conflict with it.
So you're right, Yuji doesn't have Blood Manipulation naturally. We know this because Gojo states that Yuji doesn't have a cursed technique and he would be able to tell with the Six Eyes. It would of also developed when he was 8 instead of 16.
I personally think Yuji is an experiment by creating a cursed/human hybrid with Heavenly Restriction. This creates a living cursed object.
Yuji gained his own CE by soaking in Sukuna's and being a cursed object. He gained a cursed technique from eating the cursed wombs. Having a superhuman body would explain why Yuji was able supress Sukuna and it also explains why he didn't become a Cursed Womb like the other Death Paintings.
Yuki stated that she met other HR users who's cursed energy was reduced to a regular human, but Toji was the only HR user that she met who's CE had been reduced to 0.

Its not as thick or developed as Choso since Choso had to create Blood Convergence for him. But yes Yuuji can Manuplate Blood, he did a Blood Pierce on Sukuna last Chapters

We know every sorcerer clan has their own inherited technique. So, any random sorcerer learning another clan's own technique must be unheard of.
That's Yuji's especialty: he's such a fast learner he can figure out someone else's technique, and master it his way.
His arms turning all reddish and scaly must be a unique feature he's come up with:
Blood flow manipulation combined with RCE, so he can restore his cursed energy, along with all the blood lost while fighting Sukuna. This might increase his blood circulation, so:
the faster Yuji's blood flows, the more red, thicker and rougher his skin gets.
I'm pretty sure those are just his arms at this point. His hands are actually claws.
@@MrJamaigar no, yuji is son of kenjaku, same as choso, kezo, and echizu , kenjaku made the blood paintings as Kamo Noritoshi (head of blood clan) so it makes sense that when yuji linked with his brother , he could learn to use his technique.

I read the manga; I know about Yuji, The death paintings and Kenjaku's relationship. Yuji may have had an innate aptitude for blood manipulation. Most of all, I'd like to see both RCT and Blood manipulation combined, somehow.
RCT might help Yuji restore the blood he loses fighting Sukuna.
We see him collapsing in chapter 252, after having taken four attacks that could've killed him easily.
I love it mainly because the beginning of the next chapter Sukuna will say something like: " Is that all you got kid " , and than procced to drop a f***ing building on Yuji.

The weakened slash is theorized to be because attacks don't harm someone as much as their target because it's their own cursed energy. 2 examples that support that are yutas slash against sukuna that did nothing and gojos purple not harming him as much as he thought it would. Since yuji was sukunas vessel for so long his body as part of sukunas ce and that's why it's thought to not harm him as much as others
That theory makes a lot of sense since Yuji tanked Sukuna’s world slash, and plot wise would be ideal for him to be the perfect counter to Sukuna.

I’m glad the whole “Yuji doesn’t feel like the Mc” take is coming to the end because I never understood it. Yeah other characters get to shine during fights be always had the most character focus and deaths usually revolves around him in some way. Thematically the story always felt like Yuji vs Sukuna even if not physically. A power up was bound to happen
For real. I honestly think the build up for this moment was so good, the payoff was extremely satisfying. I'm glad they didn't make Yuji immediately overpowered, this feels well earned.

I feel like some people just think that if a story has alot of important side characters and the MC doesn't just stomp every opponent easily, people think that the MC sucks by default.

I think that Yuji's new arms are just gauntlets or something similar and that is what Chozo gave him. Since attacks from blood manipulation use the hands it makes sense that an item that and help compensate the lack of experience with Yuji's CT would be something like that.

i think the translation you read was a bit different in regard to the black flashes, because what i read was consecutive black flashes, which would make more sense than total amount of black flashes which seems trivial.

My theory of how Itadori used piercing blood is that he was taught how to use piercing blood but not convergence. This makes sense as having 2 people who can use convergence but only one can piecing blood is useless, but 2 people who can used piecing blood when only one can use convergence isnt as bad as theres nothing stopping Itadori being given a big ball of condensed blood by Choso.
