No they are a special kind. The original are from The Grapery in CA. The man breeds NATURAL wild grapes to get all kinds of amazing grapes. They are Non-GMO and organic! They actually taste like BLUE cotton candy, not the pink but the blue! No kidding. I don't know about the nock-offs but The Grapery grapes are awesome and natural. When I first tasted them I was Very suspicious that they had been sprayed with something to make them taste that way. So I looked into it. They are normal, natural grapes. I highly recommend any of The Grapery grapes! They are so good and nothing artificial about them!!!
