Honest opinion on this exact boat. I own a 2021, the anti-fatuige mat is a joke because it covers such a small front deck area but feels good bare footed. The center rod box is at some weird angle that keeps you from storing 3700 planos sideways. Stores more standing them up but it works once you figure out how you want to store things. Rod box is great lights are ok but you block them once you load your boxes up. Need lights on the lid. Ice chest not well insulated. Tool holder is not well thought out use big tool or they fall through but easy to get out also a trip hazard. Passenger rod holder is crap, puts rods on bad angles. Now for the good everything else, OMG! I love it I can write a book on it ride etc. The lower unit is or at least on mine a 1:85:1 ratio and snaps on pad in 2.2 sec. Check out boat test on the 2021 model fuel mileage is great at 3000rpm 6mpg no other hull is even close. Empty 68.6 mph loaded out 2 people 66.7 mph. I give it a 4 1/2 stars. Because things like Passenger foot glove box should be standard. $400 to order one
Just ordered mine a week ago 2022 Model As for the gel coat issue that will happen with any boat if you do not take care of it period. Had my old 2006 17ft Nitro and the gel coat did not wear out until last year and still it was not a bad wear on the coat. Love Skeeters and Pheonix boats if you have the extra 20k lol and Nitros are known to be a LEGO boats easy to add what ever you want later down the road. As for the haters will haters be haters or as i say in the tech world fan boys will be fan boys lol.
@Havic - Well yes, I know that Skeeter, Ranger and Nitro are my favorite bass boats but I have already both of those boats that's why my third one is my 3rd favorite brand.
@Havic - Also it's one of my favorites because of its looks and my dad died regretting selling his nitro so I wanna get something that reminds me of him and I wanna get the right nitro for me.
