Horde nights can be fun early in the playthrough, but in the late game they are just a bother. If you fight through them you just waste your ammo and the few loot bags you get in return are not worth it. It would be cool if on the day of the horde, the traders would offer you a quest to kill zombies during the night and the quality of your reward would depend on how many zombies you killed.

Sounds like a great idea but I think it would take away the idea that the night is a threat. I’d rather dread not being prepared and relieved to win rather than get excited then disappointed when it doesn’t go well.

It's so fun to watch you. You're the only one I watch that talks about how boring it can get. I just quit a game after day 42 because I had everything I needed and I didn't know why I was playing. So now I started a new one. It's really more fun for me when I have nothing and I struggle. Hopefully the new release is out as quickly as everyone thinks.

I agree on horde nights. I've played around 3k hours of 7 days and some times the game is more fun when I turn horde nights off. It gives me more time to run poi's and to explore, less grinding for resources. I like to do the 10k rwg maps with the big cities mod, gives you tons to explore. I'm surprised that base building episodes are so popular, I usually fast forward most base building to the exploration and fights.

Screamers are so annoying when clearing out large POIs. I now bring steel spikes and place them at 2-3 choke points I know they will need to go so I can just ignore them.

Thanks for once again demonstrating that some of the newish POIs shouldn't be done the "right" way and that the crawling mechanic is the most annoying thing ever added to the game.

Im stuck on console so im way back on alpha 15 i think it is. How much of shock am i in for when this roles out for me. Ive got over 1100 hrs and know my current version very well. My whole play style will have to change.

it is sad how bad of an state 7 days to die is in.. seeing as it could be such an amazing game if we got better updates and the FP got their shit together.
like more varients on zombies, put more focus on crafting stuff, fix fps drops, add more to the story of the game, more world building.. more npcs.. you know make the game feel more alive.
I mean hell.. Sea of thieves have more story then 7 days... and Sea of thieves is an Sandbox game, not so focused on story.. hell even Minecraft have more story XD

There's no focus on actual depth to the game, so unless I'm playing something like Horde Night Every Night, I just get bored after 14 in-game days.
