Hi Art, the images captured by the video equipment. Are very beautyful, being used by a knowledged and experienced video-ographer is both deffinitely and equally. The better half of the reason. Is the Arri video camera full frame or S35?
Hi there, thanks for your comment. This video was shot with the ALEXA Mini LF, which has a large format sensor, but Signature Zooms work equally well on Super35 cameras such as the ALEXA 35.
Hi Kerim, Aluras are good lenses but Signatures are better. They were built to handle all the color, contrast and dynamic range that an Alexa 35 can capture, and Aluras are now a generation behind. Aluras came at a time when 17 stops of dynamic range and Reveal color weren't really on our radar, and with the new sensor we had to up our game. Also, Aluras were their own look as they weren't built to match a specific family of prime lenses, and Signature Zooms intercut perfectly with Signature Primes. In terms of look, Signature bokeh is smoother, the lenses are a little warmer, and they are very kind to skin. -Art
