- ARRI Product Manager Thorsten Meywald introduces the ARRI Signature Zooms, which match the natural skin tones, smooth focus fall-off, and timeless look of Signature Primes. The four Signature Zooms, plus an extender, cover a focal length range of 16-510 mm - the widest on the market.

A single lens with a focal range similar to the Zeiss 21-100 would have been nice for documentary work.
at 7:32 its not just metadata that gets shared, like Hasselblad, and Phase One mf still camera systems, the camera can know when an extender is on, so apply lens cast calibration data, as well as an exposure comp. for the light loss, and the change in f stop values, due to this extension.

no more 70-200 and 300mm, 8.1kg means I'm gonna have to hit the gym a bit more though 🤣
There is are 70 to 300 zooms out there. I own a canon one. Althought yes. The arri ones look awesome
@@daviddejuannavarro291 All the 70-300 zooms for photography are F4-5.6. What's amazing about the Arri lens is the constant T2.8 on the 65-300 and its a large format lens too. That's really amazing.
