    Can you please advice which parking lights (white LED) should I get along with the new headlamps? A link of the suitable product (Amazon/Flipkart) will be of great help.

      Hi Soham,
      Hope you are doing well. For the pilot/position lamps, I'd suggest you visiting local market and get a pair for like 100Rs or so. You will have many options to choose from.
      However if you want to purchase online, you can try these from Amazon:
      www.amazon.in/dp/B071H52NLK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_G7AX2ZXQ4YW0Z8KD34NP
      The reviews are good and one of my friend has this one installed for nearly 6months now. It's pretty decent.
      Hope this helps.

    Can u tell me the corner headlight brand too..

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  4 місяці тому

      These are generic ones available at local stores or online. These aren’t Symtac or any such popular brand.

      @@FTRClub ok bro. What's the price for the two sets and what kind of local shop is possible to get corner lights?

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  4 місяці тому

      @mittulbalaji835 it would cost between 150-250 Rs for a pair.

    How's the the performance of the light (in comparison to stock setup). Also, since you covered the lights with the dustcaps, does the light get very hot ?

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Hemant,
      The brightness is nearly 1.5 times of the stock lights and I didn't duct-tape it. I made a cut in the dust cover that goes behind the bulb so that the exhaust fan has room to blow the hot-air out. Don't worry about the water seeping in as the fairing along with the panel alongside the instrument console never really allows the water to go in there, even in severe rains.
      The only thing to keep in mind is that the extra wiring should be zip-tied appropriately.

      @@FTRClub Thanks for the detailed response. I was initially confused between philips ultinon and the nighteye. Since you mentioned that the performance is good and there's no heating issues, I will switch to these as these are cheaper than the former.

      Yeah this is incredible value for money. Just make sure you place the diodes in a way that the light is channelled properly.
      And if you are planning to shell out more, you can probably check for Cyclops, if you can get hold of an H7 type.

      @@FTRClub i think what you are suggesting here is that the led portion should be in horizontal alignment rather than vertical. Am i correct?

    Your low beam is dangerously high

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  2 роки тому

      Yeah, I didn’t realise the LEDs were facing up/down instead of sideways. I went over a few portals/discussions and then found the right way. Now it’s fixed. It doesn’t blind anyone. 🙏🏼

  • @redlinemsa
    @redlinemsa Рік тому +1

    Wrong type of LED used. Beam pattern is scattered and blinds on coming traffic. You need to get the right kind and angle them correctly in the housing. Typical rookie mistake.

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  Рік тому +2

      I fixed it after I posted the video. 😁 the LEDs should have been facing at 3 & 9 o’clock instead of being at 6-12 o’clock.
      I had also adjusted the reflector slightly downwards to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
