I am currently trying to install my aftermarket radio to my cc. I bought the antenna adapter from you guys but I have no idea where to put the blue wire that you show around 6:08. I do not have any of the other plug and play adapters. My aftermarket radio has is a pyle pvwmult07. There is no am reception and the fm reception is very poor.
So i’m looking to buy a Pioneer AVIX-8100NEX and I was wondering what parts to buy from you guys. I drive a 2012 vw cc sport. I saw the UA-cam video you had. my cc right now doesn’t have GPS but I will use it on the 8100. I don’t have a backup camera right now but I plan to get one in the future and I want the steering wheel controls to still work. if you could send me a list of all the current parts I need for an easy plug and play that would amazing and appreciated thanks.

I honestly think wrapping wires in too much tape can cause a pin to pop out. And if you have a newer CC like mine with the backup camera retention module it would be impossible to push in wires if they were neatly wrapped. Even if I did not mention it I always make sure the modules are wedged somewhere there they do not rattle.
@@gangliu7132 I use ross tech. But if you just need it to reset the light there are much cheaper options. I know many people now use OBD Eleven becasue your can use it forr your phone but I have never tried it. amzn.to/3XbQlIR I'm sure there are cheaper options if you just want to reset an airbag light.
DO you know if there is a way to only change the plastic Screen......My screen looks like someone pushed on it too hard....or like a school Calculator that was used to much. 2009 CC...smaller rectangular screen....or am I able to put in the larger radio screen radio???
Can you put a pioneer avh-4800bs in a 2010 cc with navigation and still retain the use of the back up camera ? I don’t care abiut the navigation. Just the radio, Bluetooth for calls and audio and back up camera. If yea what parts do I need to purchase for the install?

I have a 2013 VW Jetta S with no steering wheel controls or reverse camera or navigation or anything like that. I tried putting in a pioneer deh6700bt headunit and it failed to turn on. I am using a axxes xsvi-9003-nav interface harness. when I put the old original hu back in its now in safe mode. how come my aftermarket hu did not work?
+Shane Fine Could be a bad radio, a bad metra harness or its wired wrong. If you purchased our harnesses you could call us for support and since our harnesses are plug and play it makes it super easy.

Surely it would be preferable to wrap that wiring loom in some Tesa cloth tape. It would then match the OEM wiring and prevent rattles.
I honestly think wrapping wires in too much tape can cause a pin to pop out. And if you have a newer CC like mine with the backup camera retention module it would be impossible to push in wires if they were neatly wrapped. Even if I did not mention it I always make sure the modules are wedged somewhere there they do not rattle.

You just coder to reset the fault. Or if you purchased our SRWH-VW07-M you might be able to do it through the radio.

The screen has to be a replicable part. I wouldn't know where to get it or how to do it.

which cable is for AM and which for FM? I'd like to connect only FM because I don't need AM.
I believe they are both for AM/FM. I always use the correct antenna adapter that uses both so I'm not sure.

The dealership usually does not offer new aftermarket radio. They usually try to sell you the same radio you have for a lot more money.
All VW radios come on without a key. As good as the VW radio is an aftermarket radio sounds better/
