Awesome review. I have owned a 2012 CC Lux plus with the back up camera for about 15 months now. I wish mine had the revised tail lights but not this new corporate front grille (although I won't mind the new LED headlights). I also prefer my rear bucket seats than the there seater which isn't really practical. Again, great detailed review.

It actually is proportional to the amount of additional features found in the base model now. They have nicer computers, alarms, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights standard now. The base price went up i relation to the additional features they added.
Mileage is variable according to your driving style and where you drive. However, I get reports of 32 mpg on the highways from my customers regularly. I also have heard averages (both city and highway driving) of 26 mpg. The levels are all varied. Mostly, every trim tier adds more luxury items. For example, the Sport Plus adds navigation. The Lux adds a panoramic moonroof and different wheels. The V6 Lux adds Wood and LED internal ambient lighting. The Executive adds cooled seats with massage.
I will be doing more, definitely. The fastest VW right now 0 to 60 is the Golf R. That is 5.5 seconds. The second fastest, interestingly, is the Passat V6 at 5.7 seconds.

Steve Miller You can say "Music" which starts playing music from the bluetooth connected device but you cannot choose specific tracks. The CC uses an MDI cable which will either be a 30 pin connector for iPhone 4 and earlier or a lightning connector for the current iPhone models. A USB cigarette lighter adapter can be purchased and used as well.
not really the 200hp is very good and fast, if you re flash your ecu like i did you can actually hit 160. and while most cars are 270 hp they are limited. so think about like this you can have more power and not use it, i have less and can do more with it. and the pick up of this car is breathtaking. test drive it and you will see

so $2505 for things you listed above. I wonder if you can make a video to show how much nicer the dark brushed aluminum trim can be. How the ambient light looks. In general I feel like Sport Plus offers better value.
The Lux trim level includes everything found on the Sport Plus, plus 18" alloy wheels, interior ambient lighting, dark brushed aluminum trim on the dashboard, doors, and center console. The sunroof pops up but doesn't slide due to the extreme curve of the roof and size of the glass panel.

Reason y i said Audi first cause its number 1 in germany yes its above Mercedes and BMW and german cars r the best they last longer, better quality, better technologies. Kia optima isnt that bad but if ur comparing it 2 them Audi and VW of course r better.
cc is the best car of vv together with scirocco..but one thinq im gonna say is: i drive a seat leon from 2011 and i have ALL the option that this cc has..so a lil bit overpriced for what u get :)

Do you really have to put your foot on the brake before you turn it on? I have and '08 Passat with that key and I don't have to put my foot on the brake.
Detailed review. ! I also hear that 2013 CC has some bit of advanced safety features such as blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning. are those standard in all the models? Is it possible to add rear view camera in sport plus or lux as an option ?
They should make the CC with the GTI steering wheel...wuld look great in this car! I just a 2013 GTI in August and I love it! Just my windows tined too!

9:59 TSI really means Turbo stratified Injection, the fuel is injected directly into the piston and is sprayed in a Stratified pattern.

Is that cable permanent, because that won't fit the new iPhone/iPod ?!

I've seen no issues after 40 to 50 k miles. In fact, I have seen nothing but reliability well through 150k and up.

The rear view camera does come on the V6 lux and executive trim levels.
You can "chip" the car and get 50+ more HP. Just look up APR, Revo, Unitronic, or GIAC.
Whats funny about the headrest 4-way feature is pre-2005 all vw's has this anyhow

A lot of things are the same like at the much older Passat 3C B6 . But ist a very cool car like the 3CB6.
What's more on the lux trim? So the sunroof still doesn't open?
