      i use nu22b / R422b and am very happy with it for refrigeration & a/c. All oils compatible.

      Thanks NMranchhand! I mainly try to use MO99 for units that have Mineral oil and R407C for units that have POE oil. There are newer outdoor units for R407C that will match nicely with an existing indoor r-22 air handler. I will not reuse an r-22 coil that is older than about twelve years though just do to warranty issues and leaks that may occur in the old evap coil. Around here at the shore, the salt air wrecks the fins of the condensing units pretty quickly. I try to replace pistons with an r-22 txv whenever possible for efficiency. Also thanks OcRefrigeration!

      acservicetech Thanks a lot. Those are tips I can use directly for this R22 system I’m learning my way around.
      If it’s of use, I stumbled on a good psychometric calculator from Universal Industrial Gases Inc. at www.uigi.com/WebPsycH.html that can provide lots of data including wet bulb from just dry bulb, RH, and altitude.

    Good video ! Yea, ive been using this App for about a Year now & Have Found it very useful. ( on iphone) i have found a few errors with some of the extra information - like the compatabile oils being incorrect on some refrigerants. but thats it. App Works Very well on ios, no weird glitches etc. p/ t chart works very well. very happy with it. no logging in or other crap to deal with. no email sign ups. etc. just hit the button and pt chart is up & fast.

    Another great video as always. What is the most common problems you find on a service call ? Low on Freon ? Electrical problem? Others ? Etc.

    • @acservicetechchannel
      @acservicetechchannel  6 років тому

      In my case, I would say electrical such as items like capacitors, then next airflow, next refrigerant leaks, thanks JiggyPatel!

      Thank you very much for the offer but I am trying to stay in the training realm while also maintaining my business. Did you go to school for HVACR around here or just went right into the trade? That is cool to hear you are from the area!

    I like Emerson check a charge app, you can put in your dry bulb, wet bulb. Only problem is you have 2 refrigerant selections.
