It's a crazy up-air. It feels like it is not long enough, but then it will randomly beat out moves that look too dangerous.

These sequences as Toon Link are insane! One of the best in the world?
I always felt Toon Link had the potential to swing at the same level as young Link... but unlike the latter who had Tweek once long ago, Toon Link never got someone on the level of Lv1 to prove it.
There’s no way this is not the best Toon Link in the world.
Smash ultimate has barely reached its its full potential and the Japanese scene is growing and showing. This is really hype for the ultimate and I hope we will see more full potential performances from all characters. Thank you Japan 🇯🇵

@@TreebeardXIV It's just a theory, but a lot of NA thinks Sonic and steve have killed the game, and it demotivates a lot of the player base to keep on getting better. NA is very much guided by tier lists as well, and they are immediately convinced that mid tiers and low tiers are unviable. Japan talks less and keeps up the grind, no matter how bad their characters. This is why you see some people thinking twice about labeling Banjo, DK, and Toon link low tiers. Any character is viable if you put in the work. NA doesn't believe that.

@@ragames7320while I completely agree with you, this in particular only applies in Ultimate . In most fighting games, this does not apply . Usually, the meta is the meta for a reason

Lv.1 has shown that Toon Link is no where near low tier. Even before the Sparg0 win, he's won tournaments over Yoshidora before.

14:42 im not sure why sparg0 decided to reset neutral when he has spawn advantage vs 98% toon link. I think the entire momentum would have shifted had he decided to push his advantage. Would he have won? Not sure, but I certainly don’t think he made the right call here

Steve would just kill you if he landed an upair. Still a mid tier combo. Lots of good characters have equivalent or better combos.
But toon link is def underrated. He has so much other stuff that allows him to get these combos off or change the play style rapidly

見てて分かると思うけど全然相性がトリンに傾いてるとは思えない。固め辛いし、爆弾とか取られながらDAとか空後食らって防御にならんし、近距離は剣のリーチ違う
トリン使ってクラウドキツいんだけど、よく捌ききって勝ったなぁ
レベさん上手すぎです
いやメイト相性表でもトリン側微有利だし、固めも近距離もまずトリン側が弾あってリーチも負けてんのにその間合いに入ってんのが努力不足だし、爆弾取られるなんて全キャラ同じやん。クラウド側は弾辛いし明らか不利。復帰の上Bにトリンの横強が刺さるし。

言いたいことは分かるしクラウド側がしんどいのも分かるけど
僕が上手いクラウド使いにやられてキツいことをかわしたり、捌いたりしてるのは間違いなくて、そうならないように工夫しているのを感じるのそこは間違いなくてプレイヤーの対策だと思いますよ
あんなにガードすり減ってもかわしきった上手さを見ても下手に怖がって飛び道具投げまくったり、むやみに飛んだりしなかった証拠にはなるかと爆弾も飛んで下に投げたり、上に投げたり横にそのまま投げるケースはほぼなかった
それが功を奏した場合はキャラパワーとは言えないかと
それに飛び道具はガードを崩す力がありません、適切な距離を取り防御だけに気を遣えば、プロなら逃げ続けられると思います。
実際トリンの掴みの発生遅すぎて飛び道具嫌がって固まってる掴んでやろうなんて簡単に行くもんじゃなかったです。レベさんが掴み通してるとろも虚をついたり、絶妙なリーチ差の対応だったり、着地狩りだったり、凄くプレイヤースキルの詰まった瞬間に見えます
プレイヤースキルで克服してるのはキャラ相性とは言えないのでは
逆にクラウド側がトリン専用にしてた対策はどういうところでしたか？僕はクラウド側の視点は持ってないです。VIP行かせたぐらいで全然使えません。
あと、言わせてもらうとオフ大会にオンラインのキャラ相性持ってくるのは良くないかと
爆弾キャッチだけに焦点を当てるならオンラインではなんとなく投げてきそうとタイミングで読みでする所も多いと思います。辛うじて目押しもどうかと言うところ
オフだとその精度は段違いだと思います。
それに爆弾キャッチしたがら攻撃できるを全キャラに例えてますが、取りながら攻撃する回転率はクラウド優秀ですよ。オンでさえ適当に空後押し付けてるだけで成功しちゃうくらいです。
別に言い争いをしたいわけじゃないですしどちらが有利なんて言ってないです。
僕は単純にやっててキツいことをやりきったプレイヤーを褒めただけです

もうクラウドで勝つのは無理なのかなーみんな対策して強くなってきてるし、何よりクラウドの復帰が見ててつらい。これ明らかに致命的な弱点とも言えるよね…

もしかして、Sparg0さんって飛び道具を持ってるキャラ苦手かな？HurtさんとかYauraさんに負けてるから。
クラウドってキャラが機動力とリーチで間合い外から理不尽を押し付けるキャラだからね
間合いの外から攻撃できるキャラに対しては得意の戦法が出来ないから五分以上取られてやられる
それもあるし、海外に強いトリン使いがいないから、動きを知らないのもある
まあそのヤウラさんにはホムヒカでストレート勝ちしたんだがな

@@user-qz2ww5cb3q単純な比較にはならないけどスマメイトの相性表だったら有利上からピクオリしずえ村人ゼルダみたいに続いていってるし、そもそも足早くて空中機動高いでそんな飛び道具きつくない。
