idk but as a KC fan I can say that I see that as a huge step since the beginning of the structure, we dreamed about LEC and a new team with such a gigantic community behind them make the scene hype
They played well against Fnatic and G2 who are the 2 best teams in the LEC by far, even Yike and Mikyx said that KC is the best team they played against in scrim and Yike said that they sweated in today's game. This team began scrims since only 4 weeks and we can see that they can challenge (not beat for the moment) G2 and FNC. I really think this team has the potential to be top 3-4 at the end of the season, they have tons of coaches + don't forget that they will mainly scrim Fnatic and G2 until playoffs now that they already played against them.
Because to have a functional league you need teams that don't just have supporters due to league dominance (G2 and fnatic) to have eg the financing to culture talent longterm and actually contest the top teams. Otherwise a league just becomes a win more situation around top 2-3 teams where noone else has any money and the top teams don't have the option of or any incentive to be taking risks on roster changes. Hopefully KC will bring a spark that will up league competition and actually make EU competitive at worlds.
