Hi Phil the RAF operated these as basic flying/handling helicopters with 2 FTS at RAF Shawbury. Looks a great kit and on my hit list with the sublime looking H-19 . The RAAF was just a decal added at Middle Wallop . Great review as always .
I made a similar comment on your Airfix Sea King review - for the transparencies try UV cure jewelry resin, fantastic stuff for attaching and working with transparencies when you don't want to mess them up. Also, one of the skis is missing a leg
Hi Phil nice review, I have the KM Kovozavody Prostejov 1:48 Gazelle AH.1 which I thought was a AMP kit but its not, just wondering which one is the best?

Hi Phil - nice review. Just a small correction, the RAF don’t own Culdrose - it is a Royal Naval Air Station.
And a two hour drive from Plymouth, so not far 😂
Nice review, Phil. I can always count on you to give an honest opinion of how a model is, good AND bad!!
These kits are such hard work

Phil, it also looked like one of the supports on the landing skids is missing. Possibly a short shot.
RAF Culdrose? RNAS Culdrose/HMS Seahawk please!

Hi Phil the example shown at Rochester Airport is still flying and goes in and out of there periodically. Cheers Ade
Hi Phil, just a quick observation. It looks like one of the rotor blades is damaged at the attachment end - could be a tricky fix.
And one of the rear "legs" for the landing skids.
RAF Culdrose ..... How dare you 🤣
I thought it sounded like RNAS, which it is/was, although it was quick and could be mistaken for RAF.
Wouldn't it be nice if more manufacturers put a 3D option in their kits. If AMP can do it so can the rest of them.
Australian??? Sounds like complete fiction to me.
Probably ex British machines that have been shipped to Aussie for private use.
