Love this setup. One thing to note about the cable raceway: it's best for set-ups that rarely, if ever change. Because of the way it closes, it doesn't make it easy to add/remove/change things easily. It works really well but just keep that in mind.
Welcome back, Lloyd and Emily. We miss you both! The (natural) lighting looks really good on Em. I use the same LogiTech mouse and can vouch for it! I also use their bigger ergonomic keyboard. The plants on your desk are a nice touch. Right on!
A minimalist desk setup can really help create a calm and productive workspace at home. It's amazing how much difference the right environment can make in our focus and productivity.
Beautiful minimalist desk set up, very informative. Very generous of the furniture company to give you the desk and chair, hopefully your exposure of their brand on your UA-cam channel will help with their sales. Looking forward to your future videos, liked and subscribed.
A wife that Gyms and allows me to build a productive work place , man this is a all men's dream! Love the cinematography and efforts put into the videos! a huge inspiration for me too !
Great setup. I love the way you have set up your cable management. I am going to work on this set up for both of my desk setups in the house. Good stuff!
Very nice set up get yourself a monitor riser and a monitor desk arm or wall mount it will clean up your desk very nicely it’s looks very nice now but with those two things will look more well placed and organized like the g drives and caldigit can go under the monitor riser and you can place a few things on top and the monitor arm will be for your monitor which eliminates the legs on your current t monitor which will give it this floating effect. Nonetheless great work
Em & Lloyd, could you make a video about ChatGPT on legal education/law schools and the implications? One day, take home exams and papers may be out of the door. And this is just law school. Imagine what other subjects/majors/faculty will be like.... Should people be freaked out?
I am a new subscriber and just watched your “day in the life videos “ that you made a year ago. It was very impressive how you managed your time and got a lot done. I am curious, are both of you still going to the gym? As a gamer myself, does Lloyd still play games and does he have a preference between PC or console? Thanks.
I hate single monitor setup. I don't get it. Makes me always feel that such users are not really serious computer users. I have three Dell 24inch monitors now and my HP ZBook Firefly but, I dream of 27inch ones with Thunderbolt ports as soon as possible. How can you work productively with a single monitor. How? You're maybe a writer and not a graphic or web designer. And, even at that, don't you have a browser and other apps and windows open when you're working. The four displays aren't even enough for me. I still have to use Windows key + Tab to view all open windows and pick some to be active on each monitor and move windows among the monitors using Windows key + Shift and cursor keys. It'd be nice to have four 27inch screens and an HP Z8 workstation with 3TB RAM. That's my dream.
Honestly, when you need to remove your couch and tv for a workplace, you have created an unhealthy environment where you no longer work from home, but live at work instead. And the desk is still far too cluttered with things to be really minimalist. Plus "don't try this at home" for a simple saw? DIY is truly dead then.
I’ve been watching a bunch of these types of videos recently and truly, this video was one of the most relevant and useful.
Great set up. Lost it at the fire Elmo 😂.
LOL fire elmo was the perfect meme

I would add monitor arm.
Also try … Logitech super light g pro c mouse.
The wallpaper looks good. May I enquire where can I download it? Thanks a lot. I always love watching your video. Keep it up😊
It's a scene from a Studio Ghibli film! I found it here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MPECo6qYJejKuYdIot6EgvfINvAPnTGv

We do! The gym is definitely a big part of our routine, and Lloyd is more of a PC gamer. We're glad that you're enjoying our videos!
I dislike the logitech big mouse, shape is awkward whichever colour it comes with. You office setup is nice and clean👌
Can you share the title of background song at minute 2:40 to 3:00? It’s a nice background song. Thanks
