What a tool for cutting down on time and fuel . It amazes me that some farmers have a knack for making their jobs easier and cost effective . Thanks for sharing a great invention with everyday people that aren’t in the farming business !! But enjoy watching and supporting there hard work to keep us fed !! Thanks
We have a couple of old John Deere 2320 swathers to cut our hay. They're old and quirky, but they work great! Plus they're light enough to float over most wet spots , but if they do go in, we just need the winch on the Gator to get them out.
@@bigtractorpowerfriend who has an agricultural work company in Alsace in France he has a kongsklide of 18 meters speed 25.5 it's very impressive to see this kind of equipment worked and also very rare we don't see it every day in the us no more I think yes 18 meter at 25,5 speed
Not being up on equipment prices, but that price seems high. But knocking down 48 feet of hay every time across the field isn't a light weight trip! I remember seeing the neighbors using 16 foot self propelled haybines. Times they have changed!! Thanks Jason!

It looked like it was wobbling a bit and digging into the dirt pretty frequently. I imagine it's difficult to keep it from doing that without having wheels on each deck as a limit to how far down it can go.
just came across this video. Will be using this video as reference for a Mod for Farming Simulator 25 I want to make. I am planning on trying to get that mower package on FS25 mod hub for all platforms, however I need to do it. Thanks for the video.
You gota come down to the Pecos valley in Roswell NM to see the alfalfa production. A fellow farmer has a homemade triple hitch for pulling his 1840 small balers not just that but he’s running the 6210 staliwest steamer and pulling it all with a fwd 4960. It’s quite the thing to behold.
Apparently Kuhn makes a 13m 42ft mower. Has two big mowers on the trailer instead of four. I remember Pottinger used to make a center pivot trailed mower with three mowers on it.
Thought that the big stuff, was 'over in the states'. I live in a small country, Denmark, and in my community there are a mover there's just a few inches wider, moving grass.
Very light crop with a lot of missed stripes. Wonderful machine. Would need 500hp tractor in a heavy crop if mower was fitted with conditioner and grouper.

Anyone else notice the sweet lineup of Oliver and cockshutt in the background when he was turning?
I love watching big tractor mounted mowers like this working.

Hey Jason great big mower team i love this big US equipment and mower
It is an impressive mower. Thank you for being the first to watch the video.

Man that thing looks so cool gliding across that ground. Awesome stats to make it affordable. Thanks BTP!
LOVE the drone shots!!
Very smooth, fluid and dynamic without being nausiating. Good balance!

That setup gets a lot of acres covered in a hurry😁👍 very impressive mower, thanks for the video👍👍
Great Video👍It’s so nice not to have to listen to “OBNOXIOUS” background music!! Great Job 👏
This looks like an alternative, American version of the SIP Silvercut Disc 1500 T, that you can actually buy ! Pertty cool.
the sip version is also cheaper
Great video my friend ❤❤❤
Wow Jason... I could finish my hay in a week with this beast.... Awesome
It knocks out the acres in a hurry.

Cool video big T 👍👍👍
Nice find getting this mower on...
Biggest mower I’ve ever seen. Enjoyed the video 👍. Regards from Down Under.
JD 920 MOCO Impeller. Works great here in PA. Great videos!
Very nice. What tractor do you run it with?
@@bigtractorpower 1963 JD 4010 Diesel. Works great, easy on fuel.
Next time you're coming down my road feel free to take a pass through my front yard. Watch out for the mail box.
This type of setup is being used extensively on grass silage in Europe where there’s less issues with bare soil.
Wow now that's what I call Mowing
It’s a nice set up to knock out a bunch of acres.
It looked like it was wobbling a bit and digging into the dirt pretty frequently. I imagine it's difficult to keep it from doing that without having wheels on each deck as a limit to how far down it can go.
Ant hills bro. Also the problem your thinking is resolved with changing cutter bar angle
@@alextanner5924 anthills? Maybe, but I can see it wobbling. I would like to see up close how it’s cutting.
yup looked like one hard gopher hill away from going under the tractor
As long as he isn’t breaking sheer pins he’s good every mower wobble and kicks up dirt
I totally agree them mowers seem to be jumping rather than gliding over the ground, something isn't right
Whoever planted the alfalfa left some skips. Just sayin.

Very cool. It would be a good FS farm mower.
❤😊 My Old FRIEND STILL USES HIS FARMALL 450 AND IH 110 SICKLE MOWER ❤😊
Very nice mowing team. I would like to see those in action.
He pulls a Crimper behind the Tractor. Rakes with a B Farmall and uses a 400 diesel and IH 46 BALER
That's cool . We vary between a 1948 John Deere A or a John Deere 3020 (preferred) with a John Deere 1209 mower/conditioner.
All right ol school I dig it
Great mowing equipment 👍
That's pretty cool 😎, 70 acres a hr, Holy moly
48’ swath. Surprised we haven’t seen it on a golf course. Would save time and money.
Impressive!!
It really mows down the acres in a hurry.
Great video
We use Claas Cougar and Claas triple’s on Case IH and couple Macdon M1240
That is very excellent! My future tractor
Buy land first don’t wait to buy land buy land and wait
Awesome machine
It eats up the acres in a hurry.

Nice job Jason
Thank you for watching.
Growing up I spent a lot of time on a 4020 and Heston PT10 mower conditioner.
Very nice. I grew up near a farm that had a PT10. They ran it with a FORD 7000.
Something like this would take be a lot of getting used to. I'm used to 9ft cut sickle MoCo's.
Just a regular center pivot takes some getting used to. But once you run one, you don't want to go back! 👍
I used a 47 M with a drawbar mounted IH seven foot sickle for twenty years
Now he’s covering the ground
70 acres an hour is a good clip.
@@bigtractorpower that’s for sure 👍👍
Now that’s burning daylight
@@reeceedwards2509 oh yeah
And 0 fucks given to the shit job he's doing. 😂
Wait wait! Where in west Central Wisconsin?
👌Excellent👌 video
Hard to imagine a million dollar machine just to mow hay.
I bet it is a mother to maintain. How many total discs does it have?
The machine works very smoothly and accurately. I don't know what this type of machine is called and where I can find it.
Thought that the big stuff, was 'over in the states'.

3rd crop?
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
Good video.
Thank you Frank.
275 John Deere disc mower on a 1972 4020 side console and a straight pipe 😮
Ash content ✅
Most around me uses pull type or triple mowers....this being towable I could see next model mowing 64'
Hello! That's a real impressive set-up!
Cool have you seen a reach mower in Kentucky
Not so far. Just 30ft mounted mowers.
This on the same day I just baught a 7' haybine 🙂
Very nice. What model Haybine did you buy?
Very light crop with a lot of missed stripes. Wonderful machine. Would need 500hp tractor in a heavy crop if mower was fitted with conditioner and grouper.
Who uses 500hp to mow? Wtf
Lots of dirt
Yeah I couldn't help but cringe with how much dirt it's kicking up
What’s the RPM of these mowers?
I want to say 3k off of 1k pto but i could be wrong
$250K to mow such a wide swath at 48 feet sounds like a pretty good deal, ngl
Awesome but that takes a lot of money,
🚜👍😍😃🥰♥️🙏
Don’t see those everyday…sheesh 👀
It is a monster mower.
That is definitely impressive. It'd cut my yard in about 5 minutes 😂.
Over kill
Muy pequeña alfalfa, la alfalfa crece un metro aproximadamente
La cortan antes de florear?.
i'll stick to my HW340 with 16ft discbine header
Never seen anyone mowing hay & creating proper dust before…
Dry fall.
Not a Brush Hog!
It is not. Schulte makes a 42ft batwing.
Why is front mower at such a bad angle. Not doing wuch good
It seemed to be mowing the same length and amount as the 4 towed mowers.
It just looks that way. The bed will be floating
the only country were these mowers make sense
They’re widespread in Europe on grass silage
This is the only reason dairy are getting bigger and bigger
That’s what earl butz said sec of ag in the Seventies get big or go home
Did he say $250000?
I'm out

Sorry to say but that tractor would overheat all day! Bad choice of donkey.
They have run this team for several years. No issues.
Wow that is some serious mowing let me tell ya
The front mower needs to be leveled badly. Way too far forward.
Way to far forward doesn't mean it needs leveled.
