Honestly I think his sound is still the same. I stepped away from Christian music for about 10 yrs now and when I came back i was shocked to hear his "new sound" but somehow it still had his distinctive touch to it. I think what it is he evolves with each decade's new sound and still makes it his own. I think that's pretty awesome very few artist can do that. I'm back here listening to this song because of nostalgic reasons but I'm glad he's still around and doing what he loves and reaching each new younger generation. may God continue to bless and use him.
Without the Holy Spirit yes it won't make sense. I mean some guy did all these miracles and rose from the dead, that's crazy. BUT THAT GUY WAS GOD. Thousands of Christians around the world have testimonies were God has changed their lives. They say God has brought peace, and love, and hope into their lives. I CAN FEEL God's presence inside me. That is evidence, Christians are filled with the holy spirit, we are still sinners but we have been forgiven!

As a Christian, I can say that our music can get a little dry and repetitive, but the heart and the message are there, which is what really matters. Toby was always one of my favorites because of his transparency and his creativity, along with being willing to push the boundaries of traditional CCM a good bit. God bless.

I still remember the power of one when this album released. I was in a place of worry because my grandfather developed cancer, but even though he lost that fight the lord blessed me in having him see me turn 15. I’m 32 now and I still bawl thinking about the man that was more of a father than my own but he taught me that the lord will always be with me. I forget it from time to time but hearing these songs brings me back. I doubt anyone cares on this video but man I sang every word out loud and my kids came and asked me what music is this. I just smiled and told them it’s music that lifts me up and proceeded to pull out my bible.
Yes, to non-believers the cross is nothing but a bunch of words Christians seemingly shove down their throat. But the cross is so much more to those who truly believe. It's a symbol of Gods undying love and the sacrifices he made to save us sinners from eternal punishment and suffering in Hell.

Well this is exactly what I'm going through with my kids mom. But I'm now getting closer to Jehovah so bitter sweet I was so lost I messed up what I feel was my true love but only god knows what's in store for me now. I just pray my kids don't pay the price of my failures
