ODETTE - Stage makeup series

- This first episode is dedicated to Odette from Swan Lake. The princess bewitched into a swan during the day, and betrayed by her beloved Siegfried when, by mistake, he swears true love to another woman.
I came up with this look thinking on how Odette shouldn't seem human. The foundation should be very light, as well as you should powder your skin to blend with the white tutu, and I wanted to "hide" volume on the face, because swans don't have those features. Nothing under the eyes or around the nose, to try to make those lines disappear from far. Also pulling the eyeliner on the inside corners of the eyes had so much of the animal look I was looking for.
Once I am more confident with this series, I will speak through out the tutorials to make sure I explain you all my moves. I am no expert, but I have collected experience through the years, and I sincerely believe there is so much stage make up can offer to your performance. It has to be appreciated from far, but you also need to feel beautiful when you watch yourself from up close.
