    This was MUCH better than Parrot's 96,33. Look at those landings, he barely moved the snow!

    • @philgecko

      i thought parrot was actually a snowboarder

    • @DiegoRuiz1991

      phil d A 96,33 should be always better than 95,00 and it wasn't in this case. If you take the landings alone, Goepper was always much cleaner than Parrot with the tricks being as good. In other words, Goepper deserved a better score OR Parrot's score was wayyy too high

      you didnt get my point do you?

    • @DiegoRuiz1991

      phil d I know it's not the same but "requirements" should be the same. Extension and landing should have a much higher value like in all DECENT competitions where tricks are performed in the air (diving, gymnastics, skating, etc)
      To be honest, right now I feel like it's the time for this competition to be more serious and start valuing out of formulas because this "emotional scoring system" (I coined that name since judges vote what they feel it's OK) is completely unfair and gives a bad impression

    • @philgecko

      why ''requirements'' should the be the same if its not the same fucking sport... anyways

    and after all these tricks and skills some people say shit about poles, i dont think its a really big deal when it comes to nick. i like poles tho, i never ski without them and they add style to your carves .

      90sideways Then if you had common sense it should tell you that I was obliviously making a joke.. Your common sense doesn't seem to work so well.

      AttilatheThrilla Well if you think about it, it's quite difficult to interpret ironic jokes through the internet. That's why it's so easy to be a troll nowaday's...

      Poles should be mandatory, that's true

    • @HellbentS7
      @HellbentS7 10 років тому +2

      you almost get an advantage using no poles, because it makes grabs so much easier

    • @brettsmith78
      @brettsmith78 10 років тому +2

      HellbentS7 I wish you guys would do some research. Hell, even watch last years run. He usually uses poles, but hurt his wrist earlier in the year and can't use them.

    • @HellbentS7
      @HellbentS7 10 років тому +1

      Brett Smith ya I know that he usually doesnt use poles, I was just saying that he has an advantage

    • @mistercjpenny7200

      You do realize that sometimes freestyle ski athletes break fingers/hands/wrists(then they can't use one or more of their poles) and still compete right? I don't know enough to say that was the case but the point is poles aren't mandatory in a lot of freestyle skiing comps. even if it does look pretty goofy. Also I don't see how he has an advantage at all if his wrist is messed up, I think if it was messed up enough to not be able to hold a pole then its probably not going to be advantageous when he's trying to do grabs.
