Funny thing is that the Turbo Mini is probably the best of the 3, a lot of games, a better overall selection than the Genesis Mini and it's the best way to own many of those games since there aren't really many ways to own most of them other than on PS3, Wii U and original hardware
@@oscarzxn4067 My only problem with the T-16 mini (or in my case, the Core Grafx Mini) is as of right now there is no hack for it. I hope that ModMyClassic or Hakchi come up with something soon, especially considering M2 did the emulation, just like the Genesis mini
@@ConsoleWars they did include the six button controller in the version of Asia and Japan, and if they wanted to be more authentic they shoudln't have included games that need six buttons
8:07 - So does the Genesis mini which is actually correct. The Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) mini in 4:3 IS pixel perfect. The resolution for the Genesis is 320x240. That's 4:3. This is pixel perfect and fits perfectly on an old CRT which is what it was built for. The SNES Mini has a resolution of 256x240; an aspect ratio of 8:7. Back in the day, every single CRT you played the SNES on, the CRT stretched this to 4:3 because that's what analogue TVs do. In fact, many games built for the SNES had this in mind and knew they would get stretched. When the game has been stretched to 4:3, circles become perfectly round. Having the SNES Mini in pixel perfect mode is objectively incorrect and circles become oval. 4:3 mode is the right mode for both the SNES and Genesis. But then when the SNES is stretched this way, the Genesis is obviously showing more detail in the width with a higher resolution. At the end of the day, the Genesis is easily sorted; put it in 4:3 and you're good to go with no worries. With the SNES, you can do the same and it will look how it's meant to with a lower resolution, or put it in pixel perfect and everything looks squished. Honestly, it doesn't matter when comparing the two when you just want to chill and play games, but giving a point for the SNES for having pixel perfect mode when the Genesis is also pixel perfect and better at doing so, that shouldn't have been allowed 🙂
Monster World IV, guys that it an amazing game, one of the best on the mini. Also Dynamite Heady is a very solid game. I think you guys did not play the Sega games enough to judge them properly.
but, as they say, there are many other ways of playing those games. Steam has them, and they're available elsewhere (certainly in the case of Dynamite Headdy). Not the same for SNES, thus it's more essential to get the SNES mini if you don't already own those games. Not that Dynamite Headdy or Monster World IV aren't great (they are), but simply that they're less essential.
@@printthelegends well, compared to most Megadrive games it actually is. I mean, you can play Megadrive games through Steam, and Xbox/PS online stores/compilations. You can't do that with either Mario World or Link to the Past. So, apart from OG hardware, SNES mini or Switch you're knackered. If you don't want mainline Nintendo hardware, what options do you have to legally play the games?
15:00 I disagree completely here Pat. Kid Chameleon is a good game, Dynamite Headdy is an AMAZING action game, Monster World 4 is an excellent adventure platformer which was never released in English back then (so its inclusion here is a great option), Super Fantasy Zone is a really good shooter that was not released in the US, Light Crusader is an amazing action RPG and Wonder Boy 5 is another great adventure platformer. Sure, you could say that Alex Kidd and Virtua Fighter 2 are trash (and they are), but the SNES classic is not innocent (I'm looking at you F-Zero). Overall, for having more games, more variety and more 2 player games, the MegaDrive Mini is the winner.
The main thing I dislike about the Snes choices is that they pick the first games when the sequel is arguably superior, MMX not MMX2, and DKC not DKC2. Star fox 2 and FF6 are the exceptions, but unlike Genesis they didn't include the past games too, because why not have both? I see no reason they couldn't have included more. Genesis Mini has Streets of Rage *2* both Sonic 1 and 2, and Monster World 3/4 It just makes the game selection on Snes seem less interesting
@@ConsoleWars Also, some of the additions in the SNES classic are kinda questionable. F-Zero and StarFox may have started their franchises, but have aged horribly bad. And Kirby's Dream Course... it's not bad but I'd say is even less remembered that some of the examples you gave to the Genesis Mini. Also, no Chrono Trigger.
The SNES mini has a good selection of games but having to push a button on the actual console to go back to the menu or use save states turned me off playing it real quick.
I'd say it's a tie. Plus for the unreleased games in Genesis, Darius was actually created from scratch by a medical doctor b/c he was such a fan of the game and then Taito took that development and did the final touches, including music, and M2 emulated it perfectly (this was an amazing 3-way collab!). Tetris was released by Sega in the arcades but the MD version was never released due to Nintendo's copyright exclusivity at the time. However, this time around, it got the full blessings of Alexey Pajitnov and he even made a video congratulating the release of it for the Japanese MD title reveal party that Sega of Japan did. Really so much labor of love went into releasing the MD/Genesis Mini.
Ok guys, I don't agree with Nintendo winning the last segment. It should have been a tie, and a tie overall for the episode. Here's why. For what I can understand, Nintendo only won because Sega have been releasing the games dozen of times for the past decade (and more), so its not so much of a "rare find" to play these games on the mini. But what about Nintendo? For what I know, almost all Nintendo published games have been re-released for newer Nintendo consoles and handhelds, such as Wii, Wii U, DS, Switch, Virtual Console in general. For example, almost all Snes classic games by Nintendo can be played on the Switch. Some others company's games are also easily to find somewhere, such as Contra 3, Final Fantasy 3 (6) and Megaman X. Now in the case of the Genesis mini, these are the games that Sega did not re-release since the Genesis era (as far as I know) Alisia Dragoon Castle of Illusion Ghouls 'n Ghosts Monster World IV Strider Thunder Force 3 World of Illusion And of course, the 2 completely new games, Darius and Tetris It has also games for other publishers that may/may not be easy to play today with other means (Collection, etc) Castlevania Bloodlines Contra Hard Corps Earthworm Jim Megaman Wily Wars (First re-release since Sega Channel) Road Rash 2 Street Fighter 2 With a total of 15 "rare" games. Compare with the total amount of games in the Snes mini (21), so you can now realize that what actually made Sega lose the episode is the fact that the mini offers way more games in general, because it is very possible that it has more "rare" games than the snes mini. Bottom line, it should have been a tie, because both minis are equally great in my opinion.
First time I'm a bit disappointed in a result, and it comes down mainly to the admittedly shallow way the game line-ups were looked at. While there are fair arguments regarding Sega re-releasing its games like crazy & offering prior "Mini" consoles, disregarding stuff like the Monster World games, Dynamite Headdy, or Super Fantasy Zone, the lack of acknowledgement of stuff that almost never saw re-release up until that point (Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Alisia Dragoon, & the Konami games, anyone?), & downplaying the fact that M2 went to the trouble of creating two brand new Genesis ports just for this Mini, is disappointing & showed a lack of familiarity with Sega's deeper cuts, which was the very intention of that Mini. Yes, these games don't have the instant name cult status that EarthBound has, but they are still generally considered absolute classics in their own rights; hope you guys don't get the rage of Monster World IV fans by saying that it's "not a classic". Not saying that Sega should have won, but considering the pros each side has over the other, this was definitely a Tie result. Beyond that, though, another great episode, and it was fun seeing Greg parodying Joe from Game Sack.
Yeah that's a good comment. I was wondering all these same things, also not saying Sega should have won. Even if based on the controller decision by Sega alone, I think the SNES wins here. But damn, Wily Wars was a long ass time coming. It didn't even get a mention.
Totally agree. The Monster World games are amazing, Dynamite Headdy is also a super fun game. Furthermore, alot of these SNES games are available on Switch, as well as some of them being available on other compilations.
It basically came down to only caring about name value and not quality games. A lot of Nintendo fans always come down to "but how many Marios or Zeldas do you have?" The increased amount of games on the Mega Drive and the fact you can access all three regional versions for any games that have them made it a clear winner to me. Also shocking that Sega doing a better job of preserving these games was somehow a point in Nintendo's favour. Like, how can you penalize a system because its company actually cares about preserving its games more than the other lol
Psst. Sega save states have the option to lock your saves so you don't accidentally overwrite. I say that alone makes the Sega save states better. I definitely don't sit here wishing there was a rewind feature but if I ever overwrite accidentally I sure as hell would wish I had the lock feature.
Dynamite Heady is one of the best games on the console. It has great graphics, music, design. I have also had a lot of fun with Monster World 4. Also, I wasn't planning on getting any of these mini consoles, but the Genesis mini was given to me as a gift. I liked it so much I will probably pick up a SNES and TurboGrafx if I can.
It all depends on what you grew up playing. I'd prefer games like Streets of Rage, Shinobi 3, Road Rash and Castle of Illusion rather than any games the SNES has to offer. Except Super Gouls and Ghosts. That game is amazing. Either way, I own both mini consoles, and they're both a lot of fun.
Many of the SNES Classic's games are available via Switch Online, so if the deciding factor was really that the SNES games are more uniquely available on the SNES classic, this should be taken into consideration. I rarely use my SNES classic anymore as a result.
But thats more of a membership than a straight up collection, but maybe I could've mentioned it. Plus, that came out after the snes classic was released. All the sega collections came out before the mini.
@@ConsoleWars Ha ha - just watched this again after a couple years and noticed my old comment. You are correct - the SNES Switch Online games came out after the classic. Fair point! Great show!
I really like both, but shipping the EU and USA Mega Drive versions with a 3 button controller is an absolute dick move considering the console comes with fighting games that need them. And by the way, Dynamite Heady is a Mega Drive classic and one of the best games of the 16 bit era.
With the 6 button Sega Genesis Controller for the mini you only have to hold the start button for a second for the option to save load game or reset or return to menu
Totally. Though its a shame that this channel is so one sided and biased towards Nintendo that they REFUSE to discuss or talk about the Genesis Mini's pluses and benefits. Even more disheartening, they're trying to prevent its viewers from investing in a Mini and instead buy mediocre quality, slow and sloppily designed Genesis Collection titles for Non SEGA platforms. Really. Its a shame. We Like Nintendo, but One Sided Bias really rubs me the wrong way.
Let's be honest most people MOD their snes mini to play other consoles, you could just mod the Genesis library in by ripping roms and llaying them on snes Mini and get all the Snes features. I still love the Genesis mini, but snes wins
Sega Genesis Mini - $80 vs. SNES Classic Edition - $250 16g Flash Drive - $5 Hakchi - Free Download Roms - Free Sega Genesis Mini wins. It isn’t even close.
Hakchi is great for all the systems, but you're right on the USB stick part. Much easier to install Sega CD games as a result. Still wish the T16 mini would get the same hack.
Nice video, the only thing I disagree with is Best Games title going to SNES Classic, technically the Genesis (even tho the game have been re-released many times) has better games, we are not comapring other collections, only what is the mini console with the best games. So I'd give the Best Games title to the Genesis.
Surprised that there was no mention of Mega Man: The Wily Wars being part of the Genesis Mini's library. That game was previously only on certain @games models in the U.S...
I have a hard time believing someone was praising the PlayStation Classic. I bought mine when it went down to $50 and then a week later it was being sold for $30 and I felt cheated.
@@FoxerTails Darn right it is. Once it was hacked it became my main mini console. Doesn't mean I'm not pissed that Sony didn't put more effort into it. It could have been great. Oh well, that's what the homebrew scene is for.
The one thing that makes both mini consoles amazing, you can easily hack those bad boys and add as many titles as you want. I hacked both consoles and added some must play titles. My little brother even gave our snes classic to our nephew and niece in El Salvador and they love it.
Personally, Mega Drive Mini wins for me because I owned most of the games on SNES Classic on Wii U Virtual Console. (Great service btw. Wish the Switch had that) Also that I actually liked most of the games that weren't regarded as classics in the video. (Dynamite Headdy, Monster World games, Super Fantasy Zone, etc) Still, for those interested in retro games and want to get into them, GET BOTH MINIS. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
Its the opposite for me. I already owned one of the sega collections so I had no intention of buying the sega mini. I only bought it to do this video. But yeah, if you like retro games, buy both. If you had to pick one though...
I'd get a Genesis/Mega Drive Mini just to be able to play games like Contra Hard Corps/Probotector or Castlevania Bloodlines/The New Generation. Original copies nowadays go for insane prices (and the PAL version of Bloodlines is even censored).
Man, for me it is *SO* hard to pick which mini console is the better option. Both have great games, faithful console designs, and I also really like all the neat menu settings for each game. Great episode, guys.
I'd have made mention of "Castle of Illusion" & "World of Illusion" being released on the Genesis mini. That was a complete surprise to me as they're licensed games-Disney licensed games at that-and the only way you could play them before would be if you owned the original games or emulate them. Also, say what you will about "Mega Man: The Wily Wars" but it was never officially released here in the US, apart from the Sega Channel. And, I actually really love the game. Not so much for the original 3 Mega Man games, but for Wily Tower. I still can't believe that Capcom has never revisited that concept with Mega Man games since. I love being able to choose from all the weapons and gadgets you've earned throughout the 3 games to take on unique levels and bosses the wua you choose to. Those 3 games alone were enough to make me buy and fall in love with the mini console, and none of them has been released on other compilations or consoles (though with the AtGames consoles, they'd still not be worth it).
Im glad you enjoy wily wars. I grew up play those games on NES so I usually play those games on the mega man collections. I also bought wily wars bootleg a while back
@@ConsoleWars That reminds me. I know I mentioned in the Discord about adding Dynamite Headdy was to show off the best games that Treasure offered on the Genesis/Mega Drive, but they could have added another Sega Channel exclusive: Alien Soldier, to replace Alex Kidd.
Disagree. There's clear anti SEGA bias and POOR consumer advice to spite SEGA. The Genesis Collections are BAD investments as they lack variety, suffer from 50 PAL Mhz, do NOT have the 3rd party rarities. Genesis Mini does and it is Horrible playing SEGA titles on PS4 and Xbox Controllers and they know it. Console Wars is very one sided, and clearly dislike SEGA as a competitor to Nintendo which is the way it SHOULD be. This is the poorest video they've done. Just shameful.
@@segaunited3855 yea a lot people in their 30s are bias because they grew up with Nintendo’s nes and nostalgia blinds them. If the sega mini did something as simple as having 6 buttons controllers and adding Sonic 3 and knuckles it would definitely be the clear winner
@@Nobunaga1983 The Genesis Mini DOES have 6 button controllers. What are you talking about? Also, if you want to be Black and White about it, then why on earth doesn't the SNES classic have Kirby Superstars OR Yoshi's Island?
@@Nobunaga1983 The Genesis Mini came with two 3 Button controllers with the 6 button sold separately. The way it used to be. I'm glad you agree with me, My apologies if I appeared a little cynical. I'm mortified at this channel's anti SEGA bias. ITs like they RESENT Nintendo having SEGA as a competitor.
I don't know who this Sam is, but I spent more time than I am willing to admit (ok about 30 seconds) searching for a Alma Loaverit without any results. Now, as for the console wars. I never owned either of the consoles or any consoles as a kid in the 80s or even 90s. I was always a computer gamer. When the SNES Classic arrived I bought it as I found the games to be quite good, at least from what I heard, plus there were some (few) good racing games. One of my favorite genres after strategy. When the Sega MegaDrive mini arrived not only I had I believe all the games on PC (bought in collections), but also the system itself had almost zero racing games. Which wouldn't matter all that much if it had for example Desert Strike. But nooo. So I never bought it. I would consider buying it today, but the price it is found at is ridiculous. So, for me the SNES Classic wins. Literally as that's what I bought. If SEGA decides to release another "mini" of this or other console of theirs, I pray they will have more racing games in them. MORE RACING GAMES. Thanks for the video.
I can’t agree with the notion that the games having been released before makes the SEGA Mini less essential. You have to take circumstance into account here; Nintendo are still in the console market, and SEGA have to release theirs as compilations on third party platforms. Additionally, Nintendo have released their games on their platforms too. I could at the time of release buy 95% of the games on the SNES Mini on the Wii or Wii U eShops. Many of the games were also released for the GBA too. I think the SNES and Mega Drive Minis should be tied; SNES’s line-up is clearly full of gems all around, but the Mega Drive has double the games, and half of them are classics so it more than evens out.
Hi there, some more info for you from a european guy who grew up with a super nintendo : being able to play to Final Fantasy, Super mario RPG and Earthbound was a nice surprice for us, because these games were not released on the super nintendo in Europe. We could buy them on the wii virtual console, but the store is closed now. The downside of the super nes mini for us, is that each games are in their NTSC version, because European TV were in 50 hz, and the game were converted to work with that. So in one hand it is cool to be able to play to these game in 60 hz now, but in other hand it's kinda sad to not able to play to games that were translated in French or German, only in english language. But we had time to learn english since then, so it's ok! Hope my comment it useful PS : Greg is right, the turbografx mini is awesome. PPS: love your videos!
still have to argue that nintendo released a lot of their games on the virtual console and the 3ds eshop in the past, plus they also have have a collection of super nintendo games and nes games bundled free with their switch online service. the snes mini and genesis mini are both kindof equally obsolite in that respect, there are many ways to play snes games but there are multiple options to play them in the best ways. i just can't agree that nintendo hasnt made their retro games accessible before when they clearly have,in fact they should have released an snes ultimate collection sooner but never did until the switch came out
I was thinking the same thing. It’s part of how I justified not picking it up was I already had most of these on my Wii U virtual console. Star Fox 2 was the only thing I couldn’t get if I wanted to and...guess what’s on Switch Now?
To be fair though, Switch Online service is more of a rental service you play monthly or yearly to keep playing these games, so it doesn't feel like you legit own these games. Virtual Console is a good argument since once you bought an SNES title on Virtual Console, you do own it. But Virtual Console doesn't count as a compilation. SNES Classic Edition is really the only way to actually buy an SNES compilation since it doesn't help that Nintendo never usually make normal compilations of their old school games. Sega normally makes numerous of compilations over the years to buy . If you ask me, I wish Nintendo brought the Virtual Console back for the Switch so I can buy these previous generation of games because as I mentioned before, in the Switch Online service, you don't actually own the NES and SNES games.
Love you guys, but I disagree on Monster World 4 and Monster Boy not being classics. You also mentioned Castlevania 4, but not Bloodlines. You guys even did a 4 vs Bloodlines and Bloodlines won. Bloodlines is not in Sega Genesis Classics collection. I believe this was a tie. Both are totally worth getting.
This video really helped cheer me up after some less than favourable content I just watched, thank you guys for being so genuine, wholesome and entertaining. You guys rock.
Out of the box I say Genesis mini wins because it simply has more games. It's really a tie though because they can both be modded. I actually use my Playstation Classic mini to play pretty much everything from GBA/PS/N64 era and prior. It's nice to be able to use my PS4 controller to play everything too.
Bruh, what about Switch Online, though? Sure, it doesn't have final Fantasy VI/US 3 or Street Fighter 2, but all of the essential 1st Party games are already there, including Star Fox 2, so the "there isn't a way to play these games" point is mute.
Before I begin watching this episode, I just want to say much thank u for making this episode in particular, Console Wars. The show has finally come full 16-bit circle.
@Cacy Mays Actually, apparently not. Apparently the SNES Mini actually runs PlayStation roms better than the PlayStation Mini, with less slowdown and the like. At least that's what I read/saw reported.
Man, I love you guys. This is a brilliant genius level idea of a show. I remember growing up with games being multiplatform but each system being radically different from one another. I always wanted to know the difference. Keep going! So good.
If you import the Sega Mega Drive mini, it comes with a different game lineup, including Musha (Japan & Asia) and Alien Soldier (Asia only), not to mention 6 button controllers. Definitely the way to go.

@@welshfinn1 Yes, it is famously very difficult to play Mario World and Link to the Past.
@@welshfinn1 I don't think people who don't own or want to own Nintendo hardware are the key demo for the SNES Classic.
@@printthelegends I'm more interested in fact than opinion. Do you have any data to support this claim?
Greg should cameo in every episode. Yes, even if that stops it from being a cameo.
Was actually Pat who said that. Not Greg.
Genesis Mini has Streets of Rage *2* both Sonic 1 and 2, and Monster World 3/4
It just makes the game selection on Snes seem less interesting
@@JetWolfEX I think Sega Mini has the same problem. No Shining Force 2. No Sonic 3.
@Justus Bowman The Japanese version does have Shining Force 2... that hurts.
Walking that monetization line with that pecker joke but worth it.
Dan, Pat and Greg. What else does a man need on a chill Saturday afternoon?
The SNES mini has a good selection of games but having to push a button on the actual console to go back to the menu or use save states turned me off playing it real quick.
Its makes so much sense, no idea why nintendo didn't allow that...unless you have a wii classic controller
The contents is GOLD, even if the skits are cringe, but they have a lot of charm
You guys are a ton of fun! And that ending was fantastic
Glad you enjoyed
Now in the case of the Genesis mini, these are the games that Sega did not re-release since the Genesis era (as far as I know)
Alisia Dragoon
Castle of Illusion
Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Monster World IV
Strider
Thunder Force 3
World of Illusion
And of course, the 2 completely new games, Darius and Tetris
It has also games for other publishers that may/may not be easy to play today with other means (Collection, etc)
Castlevania Bloodlines
Contra Hard Corps
Earthworm Jim
Megaman Wily Wars (First re-release since Sega Channel)
Road Rash 2
Street Fighter 2
With a total of 15 "rare" games.
OMG! That ending!
This is a good comment. Super Fantasy Zone is incredible and I won’t hear anything bad about it.
' *Says Dynamite Headdy isn't a classic* '
WHOA THERE.
The part with the 3rd party SNES controller going into the Genesis mini makes me keep watching this over and over...you guys rock
Psst. Sega save states have the option to lock your saves so you don't accidentally overwrite. I say that alone makes the Sega save states better. I definitely don't sit here wishing there was a rewind feature but if I ever overwrite accidentally I sure as hell would wish I had the lock feature.
You can do that with the SNES classic too.
@@ConsoleWars we have problem of your Save States of your Snes mini.
The choice of background songs was fantastic for this. Great variety and some the best for each console.
Nice to see Greg, he's been missed.
7:10 I totally lost my shit when both of you started screaming. You guys are awesome!
Welcome back y’all! It felt like we had the whole crew together again with Greg and Sam both being in with y’all.
Heh, I appreciate a good cameo. Though now I actually would have liked to see a 3 way comparison with Turbo Graphix 16 🤣
Can we all agree how awesome it is we got both consoles in mini form? 😁
Agreed
Let’s talk about price and availability: Winner goes to SEGA GENESIS MINI!!!

Let's be honest most people MOD their snes mini to play other consoles, you could just mod the Genesis library in by ripping roms and llaying them on snes Mini and get all the Snes features.

Sega Genesis Mini - $80 vs.
SNES Classic Edition - $250
16g Flash Drive - $5
Hakchi - Free

Sega Genesis Mini wins.
Hey! Don't diss Dynamite Headdy! That's a real gem right there!
Surprised that there was no mention of Mega Man: The Wily Wars being part of the Genesis Mini's library. That game was previously only on certain @games models in the U.S...
So if I understood the ending correctly, someone got beamed before Greg for praising the Playstation Mini XD
I have a hard time believing someone was praising the PlayStation Classic. I bought mine when it went down to $50 and then a week later it was being sold for $30 and I felt cheated.
I waited for it to be $20. Then immediately hacked it. Now it's worth it.
That goes without saying
@@FoxerTails Darn right it is. Once it was hacked it became my main mini console. Doesn't mean I'm not pissed that Sony didn't put more effort into it. It could have been great. Oh well, that's what the homebrew scene is for.
When you flipped down the controller cover for the SNES mini I was waiting for it to say "NO DISSAEMBLE!!!"
Dynamite Headdy IS one of the best games on the Genesis.
Other than that, great episode as always.
Really enjoyed this you guys. Glad your both recovering well.
Wish the Switch had that)
Also that I actually liked most of the games that weren't regarded as classics in the video. (Dynamite Headdy, Monster World games, Super Fantasy Zone, etc)
Still, for those interested in retro games and want to get into them, GET BOTH MINIS. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
Its the opposite for me. I already owned one of the sega collections so I had no intention of buying the sega mini. I only bought it to do this video. But yeah, if you like retro games, buy both. If you had to pick one though...
15:03 The fuck? Dynamite Heady is a fucking classic.
Oh this looks amazing! I’m so excited to see this! And it’s premiering at a normal time here too, thanks so much guys!
I also bought wily wars bootleg a while back
@@ConsoleWars The bootleg has 50 MHZ.

Great work guys! Good to see everyone and glad you’re all recovered!
Everyone should realize their pick is just their opinion, it’s not the definitive answer of which product is better.

I don't know who this Sam is, but I spent more time than I am willing to admit (ok about 30 seconds) searching for a Alma Loaverit
without any results.
I prefer the Genesis Mini over the SNES Classic. The Genesis Mini has more games, more features, more mature content, better design, etc . . .
My favorito episode! Greg as the Turbo Grafx Guy was legendary!
Jesus, all those jokes with the cartridge slot. I couldn’t stop laughing
And it can keep going. I can put in my woody...what? my woody from toy story.
I don’t think it would fit. At least the CD could stand upright.
THIS IS IT, THE FIGHT OF THE CENTURY
Haven't clicked on a video so fast! Liked before watching and boy was I correct in doing so. This was FANTASTIC!
Hope my comment it useful
PS : Greg is right, the turbografx mini is awesome.

@@baalfgames5318 Yep, the 3ds one is still online, but I was refering to the wii's one with it's awesome catalogue
When talking about design you should’ve mentioned the tower of power add on they did for the genesis mini
still have to argue that nintendo released a lot of their games on the virtual console and the 3ds eshop in the past, plus they also have have a collection of super nintendo games and nes games bundled free with their switch online service. the snes mini and genesis mini are both kindof equally obsolite in that respect, there are many ways to play snes games but there are multiple options to play them in the best ways. i just can't agree that nintendo hasnt made their retro games accessible before when they clearly have,in fact they should have released an snes ultimate collection sooner but never did until the switch came out
Hey! I LOVED Kid Chameleon! Don't knock it! And those games are all classics because a lot of people loved and cherished them.
Console wars says: “snes is the only collection to play Super Nintendo games
Nintendo Online snes collection: “Am I a Joke to you?!
Virtual Console: Am *I* a joke to you, too?
Im a simple man.. I see Console Wars video.. I click Console Wars video.
14:22 Bloodlines is literally the first game they mention after unreleased games. But I agree they dismissed some great games for Sega mini
This video really helped cheer me up after some less than favourable content I just watched, thank you guys for being so genuine, wholesome and entertaining. You guys rock.
Honestly this was a great episode I'm not disappointed at all.
Out of the box I say Genesis mini wins because it simply has more games. It's really a tie though because they can both be modded. I actually use my Playstation Classic mini to play pretty much everything from GBA/PS/N64 era and prior. It's nice to be able to use my PS4 controller to play everything too.
Do an episode on "Road Runner's Death Valley Ralley" vs "Road Runner: Desert Demolition."
and Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage vs Bugs Bunny Double Trouble too
why they were both shit
They'll be a contender for "which one's worse"
Bruh, what about Switch Online, though? Sure, it doesn't have final Fantasy VI/US 3 or Street Fighter 2, but all of the essential 1st Party games are already there, including Star Fox 2, so the "there isn't a way to play these games" point is mute.

If you import the Sega Mega Drive mini, it comes with a different game lineup, including Musha (Japan & Asia) and Alien Soldier (Asia only), not to mention 6 button controllers. Definitely the way to go.
Pretty obvious that Alma is PlayStation Girl in disguise and she kidnapped them after realizing the PlayStation Classic sucks.
