Honestly, I think she’s the most reasonable hutt in the series. Sure, she’s gross, but she’s not a pervert like Jaba, or a slimeball like Ziro. She’s also not a bad mother, completely at least. She still cared about Ziro and the trouble he was in.

I really wonder if there is more to Mama than what we know from the show. Hutts are physically incapable of speaking Basic and have to undergo surgery to be able to speak Basic. This is usually done for Hutts who lead diplomatic roles in the core systems. Maybe Mama had Ziro's job in Coruscant as a Hutt families diplomat before he took her place.
