I love that they included Funny Man a lot on this album, he was sorely missed on Vol 2.
I mean, it’s cause he took a break to be with his family
Plus, alot of the tracks on the 2nd half of New Empire just didn't feel like ones that Funny would have been involved with.
I agree. Honestly I think that Hotel Kalifornia is a lot better than Vol 2 because of that all members are almost always present in the songs
@@b1galbos89Funny Man said that J-Dog pushed him to do more parts on this album, so hopefully this means he’ll be appearing on a lot more songs in the future
@@davidnissim589 I sure hope so. Even though Charlie was involved with every song on the album, I thought Funny was the MVP of the album. I mean, hearing him perform most of his verse on Dangerous in Spanish was pretty cool. But yea, looking forward to what the next album will be like. Sure it will also be group oriented like Hotel Kalifornia was. I do recall J-Dog saying that they want to be that way going forward.

Honestly, it's not even a bad thing, Danny's always been better for me, but Deuces vocals hit hard
I think this sounds more like it would belong on DOTD, with the industrial sound

Ive realised they repeat alot of lyrics from previous songs.. i mean there’s nothing wrong with it but its rather easy to spot like in j3t’s verse when he said “leave you dead in fucking ditches” which was in dead in ditches or Charlie’s verse where he said “aint your idol bitch fuck that” from ‘idol’
I wouldnt call that reusing. The dead in ditches part is a throwback 100% I think its intentional

This album has one or two good songs but much like the last album it’s cringe and bad, HU is really doing quantity over quality and that’s sad because when they try they make really good music

@@Dark0pz that’s great I’m glad y’all are enjoying it but as someone who has been listening to them since before Swan songs this album has some of the cringiest lyrics they’ve ever written and it sounds like an album imagine dragons or panic at the disco would put out and I’m personally not a fan of it
@@retro1x201 Has screams and breakdowns and a drop #D or #C tuned guitar in most songs yet somehow this sounds like Imagine Dragons to you? And what about lyrics? Most of this album is introspective and about living in a world that's gone to shit, which is fitting. Not that different from what BMTH or Falling In Reverse have done recently so again, idk what you're smoking bruh.
@@Dark0pz falling in reverse’s new music is ok and BMTH’s posthuman survival horror EP was also good, this album is just cringe because yes, songs like trap god are definitely about living in a shit society that is seriously one of the cringest songs I’ve ever heard
@@retro1x201 I said "most of the album". You giving outliers like Trap God or Ruin My Life doesn't change my statement. If anything, you should know HU has a few stand out songs that differ from the vibe of the album generally, since you said you've been listening to them since before Swan Songs.
