Great video. Have the exact product in this video. What's your consensus on ionizers in general within air purfiers? Are they bad for health ? Would be great to see the video where you disable the ionizer and how you do it.
Great idea for a video about this. I think modern use of ionizers don’t cause ozone as have seen lab reports for devices from Blueair. But some subscribers have said it irritates them so would avoid for those with any medical issues. Ionizers with particle filters do improve cleaning power a little. I personally prefer not to use as mechanical filtration is powerful enough with a high CADR devices so no need for any extras .
You are very underrated, and I really hope you continue. I believe it's only a matter of time before others find your content and your channel blows up! I find your lab setup very intriguing and the statistics as well! Likewise, I would love to get a closer look at the graph displayed on 3:08, it would really make my day! Could you please send me a screenshot or a link? Kind regards, a loving supporter!
Haha, thank you, and I hope so! We're still very new, so there are lots of things we can do better, but I have been blown away by the support on here. We still plan to publish a web version of this review, but here is the test data from the video: public.flourish.studio/visualisation/17788163/ Hope that is useful and thanks for your very kind words!
Based on my talks with Purpleair , the zen is more accurate due to using two sensors instead of just one. I’m a slowly getting around to retesting all devices with the new zen sensor but right now our database is mainly the indoor sensor. Let me know which sensor you decide to get!
@@antondeibe3777 Based on my discussion with Purpleair the Zen is more accurate as it uses 2 sensors at the same time vs just the one sensor with the indoor sensor.
Thats impressive if they have 250m3h for that price - seems to good to be true. Would love to test it at some point. Not sure how the sheet would help it, would you use it like a pre-filter?
What about the budget options on Amazon that are ranked #1 and #2 on Amazon usa in air purifiers. A Chinese brand for only $39. I wonder how that compares
@HouseFresh 2 hours and 43 mins. Wow I knew those reviews seemed too good to be true. Wow. Thanks so much for the work you do. Helped avoid a terrible decision
I doubt it would do much, as you only have the ionizer and a very small amount of carbon in the filter. Smoke odor is generally one of the hardest types of odor to remove.

@@HouseFresh No worries and thank you!💯💯Very interesting! Which one of the Purple Air touch vs Zen would you say is the most correct?

Excellent analysis and really useful review for consumers.
Thank you.
I bought a AP-1980 dual filter from temu, do you think this will be good?
Sorry can't find this device can you share a URL?
Can it function upside down sir?
It should do but I wouldn’t recommend.
Just git a Tecknet model. £50 but they often have discounts. Been told to cover filter with electrostatic sheet to prolong life. Is this a good idea?
Thats impressive if they have 250m3h for that price - seems to good to be true. Would love to test it at some point. Not sure how the sheet would help it, would you use it like a pre-filter?
Apparently yes. Cover filter with sheet then put back in purifier.Just tried it, but not sure it's a good idea as might reduce air intake into device.
@@TheWilks4825 Yeah anything in front of the filter would reduce air flow which could reduce effectiveness.
Length of plug and is it hardwired?
Not hardwired , about a 1.5M
Keep up the work👍
Thanks! Will keep doing as long as we can.
Have you ever tested any air purifier that doesn't use any type of filters?
Yes I tested the Rainbow RainMate and the video is on here. Spoiler it didn’t do that well!
Does it remove odors?
Likely a little thanks to the ionizer and very small amount of carbon in the filter. Wouldn’t rely on for serious odors though.
@@HouseFresh Thank you
😆 This guy picks that thing up like it's made out of air lol
Was super lite plastic and pc fan.

Let me know which models. I have looked at the Aroeve MK1 and have a review filmed but not live for the MK4.
@HouseFresh yes that's the one. No cadr ratings from the reviews. Looking forward to your video. Thank you 😊
@@gustopherdanso Review for MK01 is here: housefresh.com/aroeve-mk01-review/ will be releasing the MK4 soon.
