Ah, note that if you plan to use another char for class build stuff, you will have to go through the story progression and the unlocking process all over again. It could eat up resources, but it'll depend on how you feel about it. Also, I'm aware that I am pronouncing 'characters' wrong in this video. you mean the potential, enhancement and augmenting quests? Didn't the npc provide the meseta and material for that? Edit: I just checked it by myself, yeah, they not always give the meseta or the materials for that, at lest making all the quests still provides their respective rewards for each of your characters.
Yesterday, i leveled up my second character cause I wanted to the do the dailies/weeklies trick I used to do in base pso2 for easy money only to see dailies and weeklies are account/ship bound. There's no point of using other characters unless i want to try build or use them as items folder.
At a certain point to progress story mode you have to create a multi-weapon costing 100,000 n-meseta each time. This is a pretty costly means to complete a simple quest to progress further in story mode. So when Braver and or Bouncer comes out and you don't want to spend that n-meseta on a multi-weapon to progress in story mode it will mean using a character you have already completed that quest on.
I wonder if you mentioned that having a character on each ship gives one extra daily login reward that you can use to transfer items between ships with AC.
The one thing I preferred is story progress was shared so only character needed to make story progress the story starts over for each new character which means New characters need to earn multi class and multi weapon access
I've been kinda struggling trying to keep up on two different ships. Materials being account-locked means I have to decide if I want to gather materials for ship 1 or ship 2 for any given day.
it kind of sucks if that's the case. when I had multiple chars on different ship in global, their storages could not be shared between each other. one ship would have all the stuff I needed for various things, then when I go on my other character, they could not access it or receive said help.
Since PSO 1 i always had multiple characters, PSO2 was ridiculous how much benefits you had with them, now on NGS is not that great but having multiple builds and of course the storage, is enough benefits for me. At the moment im bringing my usual 3 main characters i always have been using since PSO v1, i just cant only focusing on 1.
haven't tested this one out. in base pso2, you could do multiple urgent quest if they were not on the same ship, but that's if you have enough time to catch another run

Slick Mechanic costume from base PSO2. Most of the costumes he has are from PSO2, some of them, worse even, are JP exclusive, like the FFXIV Dark Knight one prior to that which never got released on NA
the outfit I am wearing is the NGS version of the one you see from base PSO2. Global does not have it yet. Heard that they will be releasing some oracle scratches that can be used in NGS
you don't have to login in all the time with your characters. as long as they're in NGS, you might get one. It was a pattern/trend/thing over in base pso2. When there's a huge class update, depending on how many characters you have on the account, they'll hand out a free class reset per character. I'm gambling on the chance that they do that same thing in NGS.

so are the daily missions account bound or character bound? I know the weeklies are account bound but are the dailies?
Vegetable and minerals still respawn at the same rate -whatever that is, so your dailies are still limited :/
The Daily tasks/missions on NGS are account bound. It's not like base pso2 where they were character bound

haven't tested this one out. in base pso2, you could do multiple urgent quest if they were not on the same ship, but that's if you have enough time to catch another run

Weekly missions are account-wide, not ship-wide.
