As was explained to me. start the pony. Have a cup of coffee inside. Then, you go out and start it. While you are inside you think about harnessing a six horse team.
Run the pony longer and put some more heat into the manifold and block....... Too much of being in a hurry will wash the rings out and put diesel in the motor oil. Go have a coffee and let it warm up a bit. 🤠
