For a series that touch on such difficult material context as child and alcohol/drug abuse Benedict as always went above and beyond with his portrayal of Patrick Melrose and I loved this series because of it. I too am a Sherlock fan I.e I have a Benediction to Benedict love everything he does ❤
Bennidict is my favourite actor he plays hard complicated people very well Examples: doctor strange Sherlock Holmes Patrick melrose He is truly one of the best actors out there

Probably "Last exit to Brooklyn" is one step ahead, but this performance is absolute brilliance. It amazes me that so few people talk about the show and the book.
