It is a great song but it hasn't even seen rock. Metallica and Iron Maiden are rock bands but this is a mixture of pop and rock. More pop tho lol.
Imagine Dragons is the "thing" people calls rock today. But rock is distortion on the guitar, heavy box on the drums and power. Imagine Dragons lacks of most of it. 30 seconds to mars (even when going electro) has much more Rock than this :S

This band is one of the greatest concert I've ever been too. Okay he can struggle to hit the high notes but my word he has a wonderful live singing voice and the band make it a performance/ entertainment to make it last long in the memory. Love it!

ImagineDragons you're the best thing about my whole year in lockdown. It's been miserable here in Manchester England. I've listened to a track everyday now for a whole year. No song in particular as well but it's now become something I look forward to every evening an I'll always be a big fan. Hopefully I can come see you live when the pandemic ends which i doubt I could ever afford as I only volunteer at my local dogs home. Thanks for your lovely music anyway.

Imagine Dragons did a concert in New Orleans at the French Quarter a few weeks ago that I went to see. Not only did it sound better than any live performance videos I've seen, but being there in person is just 1000x better. You can feel the energy from the band and the crowd, every drumbeat, every stomp from fans jumping up and down to the beat of the song, the love from the crowd to the band and the love that the band sends right back in a real genuine way that let's you know that these guys really love what they do and that they do it for the fans. (This was a free concert by the way, just though I should say that since not many bands do free shows since most are in it for the money.)
If you ever get a chance to see these guys in concert, GO SEE THEM!

I was at a Creighton Bluejays game with my friend and this song came on. We were waiting for his dad and the lady who was standing there was a staff or security, and she asked us if we heard of the band that sings Demons. I said yes, that's my favorite band. She said she knew the lead singer and that he came to here house and sang for her. She said he is a really nice guy. And when I was watching the Grammy Awards last night I saw the lead singer and thought of what she had told me.

It still sounds amazing. And he's actually doing what many singers do. He's singing it in a lower pitch so he doesn't hurt his voice and still sound how he wants to sound. Believe me, I know that pain. I do the same for the chorus for "Take me to church" by Hozier. Another thing I've noticed is that he's pausing to breathe quite often. Can't blame him for that.
