He asked me, “Can we visit Grant?” He also wants his birthday party to be all about fire/smoke/CM alarms. Thank you for your content and informational videos.
This is really cool!! You were the first person I found on UA-cam with really great fire alarms videos!! So nice to see how much you have accomplished!! Stay safe and have fun!! ...
Really cool video. Thank you for talking about passwords on my channel with my systems I also give out default passwords and lots of people don’t want me too. I’ve tried to explain that if someone really wants to mess up a system they would probably be more destructive not having time to mess with passwords and programming. Just my thoughts.
@@owenweber5527 it’s kind of ridiculous to me it’s a factory programming password get over it. If I was trying to disable a system and don’t know how to operate a system i’d probably just rip the door off the panel pull the batteries and turn off the breaker not going to mess around with no passwords or just start cutting wires to all the nac’s and zones and monitoring company
That vintage alarm are the same fire alarms in my foster mom's apartment building for seniors. I was even shocked the first time I went to visit her when I saw those alarms!
I work Private Security so I'm fairly familiar having to deal with different kinds of FACP's (Fire Alarm Control Panels) and how they function. Most of the sites I'm posted at are either Commercial Real Estate properties, shopping malls or telecommunications companies who broadcast live television to a global audience so I get trained on how to disable these kinds of alarms fairly often and I still find it very fascinating how they work. The fire alarm recently went off couple days ago when I was stationed at my post in the telecommunications company I do security for and almost instantly all the Fire doors in the hallways/doorways instantly shut themselves automatically to help prevent the spread of fire by sealing off the different sections of the building. First time I ever experienced something like this. 😱
Awesome video! Also, you'd be suprised, i'm 80 percent sure the "ME" pull station is Monaco which would make sense why the M is there but i've always wondered about the E.
By far Grant, This is my most favorite video, I like how you give a very detailed explanation of walk tests, and the alarms were very cool! Great Job Grant!
I really like it how the sound with that old alarm that sounds like garbage with the I don’t really know what it is called but I just like it how they sound so cool together but I just can’t barely hear it!
i like the way that the ac horn strobe flashes it looks like an led or light plate and i think it’s actually 60hz not 120hz must be running in a different way
Awesome! A smoke detector malfunctioned at my school today and caused the alarms to go off, it was early in the morning and the teacher straight up said to the 3 people in class “we’ll there’s obviously no fire” so we just went along with class while the alarms were blaring in the halls.
@@LogicDoesStuff it happens really often and our class is right next to a main exit, so in the case that there was, we could’ve easily exited the building.
This guy is that kid who's mentally recreat the technicalities of the alarm system in his head while everyone else runs out of the burning building in panic
Will Simplex's TrueAlert ES 5900 strobes and horn strobes work on their Vigilant MX1 fire panels? Alex and I live in New Zealand, Samburner3 lives in Australia.

Yay nostalgia came back I really loved these videos in the past
I love fire alarm!
We actually had a small fire yesterday. The automatic fire sprinkler activated which set off the alarms since we don’t have smoke detectors on them.
Love this vid! Asking for alarms for christmas

Do they do this in Dubai?
SER SAFETY IS A Legend
Does FWR affect EST Integrities and Edwards 892’s?
It shouldn't, being that they're electronic horns. Also, many Edwards panels put out FWR, so it wouldn't make sense for them to be affected.
Sounds like it's raw FWR, like a Fire Lite MS-5024.
Nice video!

What type of wires does it require from the panel to pull station, strobe lights, and water flow system

No it can’t bozo

Well he can’t program those panels since they require Proprietary software.
do you have a security alarm protecting the garage?
