My last submission, I sent like 6 Josh Allen cards and not one got a 10. Got a PSA 6, guy must have been a dolphins fan lol. All the cards looked great when I sent them

@@SpursCards21 yea luckily some of my other cards where 10’s lol. But not one of my Allen cards hit a 10
I just a 50% gem rate on my last order. Good thing is all the BIG cards got the 10. But the bad news is the other cards which were in excellent condition got 7 and 8’s. It’s insane how they come up with these grades. I can’t complain though because I got a 10 on a card I just threw in there to get slabbed. It was a Haaland Auto 🙏🏾
Did you send these out using a special and did they come back from the NJ building? That building gives mostly low grades.
Special I believe was 16 or $17, can’t remember. Plus insurance of course. Not sure where they ended up at. I use a local group submitter that’s I’ve been using for 4 years. Think new building and graders usually means stricter grades because they’re new.
PSA grading is crap now, I just got back a submission 2 of 37 cards got a 10. Pretty disappointed in their grading the last couple years.
That just means you aren't good at evaluating cards.

I've been doing this for quite awhile, most of the cards I sent were from the 90's to early 2000's, I wasn't expecting a bunch of 10's but 2 of 37 is pretty ridiculous. Most of the cards I submitted were pulled from packs and have been sitting in a top loader for 25 years. A lot of these were Jordan and Kobe cards.....it seems like PSA grades them tough compared to others to keep pop counts down, which is bs. I'm not the first person to say this either. @ratedRamsey
I've heard you can contact please submit again & ask for the high resolution images of why cards got the grade they got.

It was pointed out that one of the crusades on the back had some whitening. I didn’t expect the back as much. PSA didn’t care about the backs for the longest time.

The Duncan crusade teal that got an 8 definitely had white on both bottom back corners. Couldn’t really see the 7. But the 8 definitely looks like an 8 from the back

Got a submission back last week. 17 out of 36 cards were 9 and down.
60/40 rule didnt matter.
Grader was super anal about centering. All modern stuff btw
Just over 50% is what I’ve been seeing a lot. I feel like PSA does keep a quota percentage.
