That's insane! Did you get a picture of the hailstone at all? Looked incredibly big just from the amount of broken glass.
I think it obliterated on impact. I want to say softball, but downsizing to baseball simply due to standard human exaggeration tendencies.
@@PecosHank I think it was at least volleyball sized.
@@PecosHank Think this is where I would wish I had an actual baseball or other kinds of sports balls to see if it was that size that exploded on your windshield, that was a nasty hit o.o
@@anastasiacaffee4930 A baseball is just under three inches in diameter--or, if you're from outside the US, about 75 mm. A softball is about 3.5 inches, or 88 mm.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck! Glad you are okay! Good luck with getting the windshield repaired.
I hereby declare this day Pecos Hank Day
That was rather scary ! Sad you lost the windshield in the process of getting some amazing footage Sir ! Glad you're ok !
Thanks for taking us along with you on your adventures and sharing this with the world Sir ! ✌️❤️🙏
Man what a turn of events you always have in your videos! Absolutely love your content!
That storm was like, "hey hank! good to see you! Here! Have a baseball size hail!" glad you weren't too severely hurt, but your windshield, poor thing...
I only watch you in terms of tornado videos because you are composed no screaming you just go straight to the point of the video
There are other channels out there that do the same. Don't limit yourself to just one imo others have great content, too! :)
Stay safe out there, looks like it's going to be a crazy year. Really looking forward to seeing what you find this tornado season as you have one of the best videos on UA-cam ❤️🙏❤️
Glad you weren't seriously hurt, stay safe out there!
Man that storm threw that one hail stone right at you like it had some personal beef to settle. 😅
I can’t believe the size of that hail ball.. Talk about the jumpscare when it happened! Almost made me jump- (My volume was almost all the way up.)
When a huge hail stone hits the car, always know what it's saying to you. "Hey this is my turf beat it"!!😅
the beginning looks like something straight from a christopher nolan movie
Thank You for sharing the beauty of all your work, You are appreciated greatly. 🙏 🌪️
The wide angle was awesome! Bummer about the windshield but it's good you showed it because reminds viewers of one of the many hazards you face in your work. I'm glad you're all right and hope no one in the town got hurt!
You're vids are awesome! Keep it up, Hank.
That's one dark ass storm
😂
Watching your movies is better than watching a good thriller! (-; Thx for sharing!
Excelente video, muy cientifico gracias desde Barcelona Europa
Tornado sirens have to be one of the most terrifying sounds in the whole wide world. Their so eerie and urgent at the same time.
Always wear safety goggles folks.
Yikes! Sorry about all those things. But your positive attitude and perspective are what makes the cut.
Hello hank! I haven't watched the video yet, but wanted to get something off my chest, so to speak. Your channel got me through some...pretty dark times in the past. The music you make with your band (My favorite is Glamorous Adagio!), the adorable moments you show with various animals, your intriguing commentary and discoveries (I never even knew of red sprites before your channel lol.). I could go on. But your channel is a beacon of wholesomeness that helped me through a pretty rough time. Since I first discovered you, I got better, medicated, therapitized (original word don't steal x3), and tomorrow i'm taking my first of four GED tests. I wanted to thank you for being cool! For being wholesome, a genuinely decent person, and just...thanks. I hope you find even more joy than your videos give me, because you deserve it. From a stranger on the internet, thanks ^w^
dude the view you had of the tornado driving through the town was like something out of a movie..you inspire me everyday man.
You’ll always be the best chaser and calm
That first shot is mesmerizing
Always loved your videos hank!
So nice to see another video! With all the windshields that you get smashed, maybe think about adding a metal windshield cage for real protection. Something that you can easily bolt on and off!
Doing great work Hank! Great to see you on the road chasing these scary but amazing storms. Stay lizard brained and safe!
Congrats on 1 million!!!
Oh wow! A new beautiful storm chasing video by Hank!!!! Absolutely amazing :) sadly his windshield was smashed :(
Ive been watching your videos for awhile now and honestly you have a great love for storms and are very knowledgable and respectful of them. I will look forward to more and thank you for all you do.

It Was Like A Jumpscare
fr
2:34 the captions are basically accurate for the entire video but then swap "tornado" with "burritos"
"But still my lizard brain was starting to freak out a little bit like it does when you're close to burritos"
😂
Wow, the footage you captured was absolutely incredible. It almost looks like something out of a horror film. It was so unreal. Definitely excited for this year and I can't wait to see what other wonderful footage you will capture

- Pecos Hank
How many broken windows have you got so far in your career of storm chasing?
Tornadoes are by far the scariest natural phenomenon ever.
