    Knicks fans need to be patient with this regime. Things don't turnaround as quickly as New York pizza is made. Hopefully it all works out at the end.

    Every team has beef with the coach, Steve Kerr we hear in the broadcast is getting flack for not developing the kids lol. Thibs isn't perfect by any stretch but he has given his team and players a culture and stability. We're only missing another Wing player to get us more balanced. I rock with Thibs, sometimes 😹🤣 #KnicksNationNoMatterWhat Big props to coach tho. Thanks for aidiing big time in turning the team around

    Go all out on defense at all times, and iso on offense. A great recipe for racking up some regular season wins. A losing recipe for winning in the playoffs.

    • @clutch7548
      @clutch7548 2 роки тому +3

      Yeah elite defense never helps in the playoffs🤦‍♂️ and ISO has won championships too goofball. thibs still preaches ball movement when double teamed

    • @freddiefionopolis
      @freddiefionopolis 2 роки тому +1

      @@clutch7548 it's more try hard defense than elite defense. Any team that can shoot 3s tears it apart and it burns players out during the reg season. Most teams slack on D till the 4th quarter reg season. And iso only works when you have elite iso players. We don't. Throw a 2-3 zone at us we crumble.

    • @clutch7548
      @clutch7548 2 роки тому

      @@freddiefionopolis your comment has no logic, because defensive rating includes 3’s… its how many points per possession knicks give up
      They are elite, and were even better in 2020. And if they went “all out at all times” they wouldnt have all those games relaxing on defense… do you even watch the Knicks when they lose?
      And the offense does work. Its maximizing the players. You honestly think you can get MORE than All-NBA out of Randle?
      And Brunson isnt a drive and pick point guard. the offense functions based on the players skills.
      If you actually watched Thibs Bulls, who was ISOing? They barely ran ISO… heaps of plays with Noah setting shit up, Korver flying around screens, D Rose penetrating

    • @jonathanakcay
      @jonathanakcay 2 роки тому +1

      Eh, he's good, not great. The thing with Thibs is his teams always have very high floors, but very low ceilings. He maximizes what he's given, runs them through the ground, doesn't make the necessary coaching adaptations throughout the season and into the playoffs and his players become gassed and not able to execute the style of play he wants for 48 mins of every game. It's literally been that way with every single team he's ever coached and it's playing out the same way now again. He's not a terrible coach by any means, his IQ of the game is vastly superior to other coaches, but that doesn't change his stubborn ways of coaching - some like that (front offices), but fans and a lot of players don't.

    • @jonathanakcay
      @jonathanakcay 2 роки тому +1

      @@Brian-bw9fh Let's calm down with the development aspect, I promise you head coaches have very little influence as to how a young player progresses/develops other than the minutes he gets in a game.
      With that being said, I do agree that he's quite amazing at maximizing talent but again it's translated to nothing but playoff exits in his coaching career, which again I'm not trashing him but he's not a Popovich or Kerr. Look it's clear that players either love him or hate him, there's no in-between. But if you aren't popovich or kerr, it's going to be harder for players to buy into your system
      I can't sit here and trash the man for producing the most wins in a 4-year span since Vangundy, I do like the positives that he brings but often times I feel his negatives outweigh the positives, it's been that way with every franchise so far, hope i'm wrong.
      I do think we need more talent before we can decide if he's the coach for us or not. It isn't fair to any of our previous coaches that the rosters they inherited comprised of mostly fringe-NBA players

    • @AllWiseTV
      @AllWiseTV 2 роки тому +3

      IF U THINK THIBS TEAMS HAVE A HIGH FLOOR N A LOW CEILING. THATS SPEAKS TO THE PLAYERS TALENT NOT THE COACHING TALENT. UNDERSTAND WHAT U TRYIN TO SAY B4 U SAY IT. ADJUSTMENTS ROTATIONS ISO DROP COVERAGE AND THIBS R ALL TRIGGER WORDS FOR FANS WITH LOW 🏀 IQ. LOW HANGIN FRUIT PAUSE🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      @@jonathanakcay and saying low ceiling is pretty stupid too. How was 1st seed in Chicago low ceiling? They maximized success for having one allstar and a bunch of defense
      Minny maximized their average team. And the Knicks being 4th seed maximized having a roster projected to be bottom 3
      So clearly, if you add more great players to those teams, they’d have even more success
      The young Bulls lost to super team Miami, what else do you want? That was their talent celing
