- Former Clipper Boban Marjanović purposely missed his second free throw attempt on April 14, 2024 to give Los Angeles Clippers fans free Chick-fil-A, as the home crowd is awarded free chicken sandwiches any time an opposing teams' player misses 2 free throws in the 4th quarter. Clippers play-by-play announcer Brian Sieman comments that Boban is the nicest guy in the NBA.

@@RichV20No he is always signed on a team for the year. He just sits bottom of the bench. More of a locker room mood improver and also gives guys a height challenge during practices...But the very little he does play his per minute stats are always VERY impressive

During the 4th quarter, if an opposing team's player misses back to back free throws, the Clippers fans get free Chick-fil-A. Boban, since he used to play for the Clippers, decided to do the fans a favor and miss the second free throw on purpose. It was garbage time in a meaningless game anyways, but it was a very sweet thing for him to do for his former fans!
