For battery life improvement turn off the hey Meta feature and move that to touching the glasses. My glasses now last all day from 7am to 11pm depending on what I’m doing.

I wish it was wide angle and I thought it would bother me more but it honestly hasn’t. My advice .When you first get your glasses if they seem to not be answering questions,be patient. Factory reset them, reboot app download update before you turn on auto update. Make sure glasses say your glasses are updated an let auto update turn on automatically. At least that's what worked for me,now .these glasses are (GREAT)!

One big update I am still waiting for is to have video record in horizontal format versus vertical. I don't use TikTok and prefer my footage to actually match my monitor or wow, TV. Any chance they will have a software update to record horizontally, even if they do so using software? Using software options to do so will cut out resolution but atleast keep me from having to do it manually in video editing apps). This is the only thing holding me back from getting them.

Good review. The describe what I am looking at feature is really useful for people who are blind or visually impaired. I know a lot of them love these glasses for Accessibility features alone. Meta even added support for Accessibility apps from within the glasses.

Just started looking for these. I did go to an optical shop and they have their own lenses for prescription. The cost is $150 CDN and another $50 CDN for the prescription. I just need bifocal so it does seem worth it, I'll go with my reading glasses. There may be other channels prescription lenses but I am not aware of these right now. I hope you find what you need.

I don't get why you can't changethe orientation of the video, turn the flash off, or record for more than 3 minutes. These would be great glasses to discreetly film pickup tutorials if they changed those three parts. If I try to talk to girl in these she's going to freak when the light comes on.
It’s quick and kinda jarring. But the clips for me are about moments not quality of that makes sense. It works it’s fine but I’m not using this camera to make UA-cam content. If that makes sense. It won’t replace a SLR, pocket camera, cell phone or action camera.

I have a DJI Osmo pocket 3, in which I connect it to a battery bank, and rarely worry about running out of battery, I can continuously record up to 4 hours at 1080p, and not even worry about overheating as well. So can you do that with the Ray-ban? is the 32gb fixed? and can it be expanded, does it have an micro sd slot? It might not have it, but you fail to mention it.

No. It has speakers and microphones that connect to your phone. You can listen to audio and make calls. It also has ai, so you can ask ai any questions that pop up in your head. Want to know what kind of rock your looking at? Ask your glasses. I'm guessing, it tells you. And yes, it has the cameras for picture and video.
Good question - I just tired it can read words and you can ask it to translate it to your language. Not sure all languages but I just did Spanish. Also it does it audibly as well but not able to test.
I thought these had some sort of display that you could see. Now they just seem creepy. I'll wait till they come up with some that have a display and can change the tint and the magnification electronically. No special prescription required. Now that's a good pair of glasses.

Turn off the hey meta as it is always actively listening and go for the touch feature instead. That will save you lots of battery

Nope. I’m sure you can cover it up though if you want.
Love this, but they need to give you the option of turning off the light.
I also have the prescription transition. They are great. I use them for zoom calls and translation with the AI.

Nope. If it’s loud, they can hear this sounds coming out, but they won’t make out the words. I’ve tested it before.

Because when i'm on a phone call nobody can hear what's around me.... I'm not saying for recording video, but when doing phone calls.
That’s on all mics on smartphones , it cancels outside noise so it focuses on your voice to filter out the background.
