It's made by Quebec, they did Odyssey and Syndicate. They're known for making the worlds too big for parkour to ever really be effective. So enjoy ten minutes of holding down the left thumb stick riding a horse just to reach the mission objective.
Unity looks like the cool parkour when you think about parkour Has more moves, more fluid but feel like the character is paper which makes it really not good in my opinion so I'll take Syndicate
Arno Dorian is best. His parkour style is superb. The day I watched Unity 's walkthrough and playing it later, I vecame fan of AC unity 's parkour style.
Syndicates camera angle effects jump distance, for that reason alone it beats Unity, people thought they removed the manual jump ability for no reason, but in reality it opened up more possibilities for mechanics, jump button was glitchy and unnecessary in unity, holding a in syndicate while free-running makes Jacob and Evie mount a wall instead of jumping to ground level, because unity didn’t have that it’s mechanics weren’t as reliable often putting you somewhere you didn’t intend to go and ruining parkour sequences. Syndicate is the only assassins creed game with realistic minimal parkour level-design, the first game, the ezio trilogy and the kenway sagas level-design was great but unrealistic and too obvious and unity was just a cluster of obstacles in places leaving people baffled as where to begin ascending!
The systems are practically identical but the place were Syndicate falls short is map design. Unity's map is much more tightly packed than Syndicate's and that allows for more creative and free flowing parkour opportunities
People are talking about how smooth Unity's mechanics are, but this highlights how underrated *Syndicate* really is... the most abandoned and overlooked *Assassin's Creed* game. Ubisoft really dropped the ball after receiving complaints and then shifted toward RPGs. *AC Syndicate* was the last pure Assassin's Creed game for me. No bother, *Origins* has a better story than both *Syndicate* and *Unity* though, I'm clearly just not a fan of the shift to gods and demigods. There should have been trilogies (like Altair and Ezio) for the Kenways, Cormac, Arno, and the Frye twins...
Unity felt and looked so much smoother then syndicate. Syndicate was solid but unity’s system flowed a lot better, making the parkour aspect of the game much more enjoyable.
Unity: has access to really cool outfits, wears literal rags. Syndicate: the idea of a dude in a leather trenchcoat and a top hat hopping and leaping around the structures is so strange.
For syndicate they just basically took the Unity parkour system which was great and then refined it a little bit, by refined I mean they fixed some of the bugs and glitches and actually shortened the plyometric and stride jump distance which made it more realistic, BUT the reason why Unity is still better is because in Syndicate you don't have a jump button, or a MANUAL jump button I should say, which means you can't jump of ledges and buildings if there isn't a designated landing spot, which sucks and takes away your freedom while moving around the world.
While the parkour is much more user friendly and much faster than previous titles, it really just looks like they're floating around. That one of Arno hopping over a spot Ezio would normally hit, he looked like he sprouted wings lol
Pretty sure that’s because the person playing keeps pressing the jump button instead of free running, and I am losing my mind watching this video because unity has such good parkour and this video just doesn’t show it.
my issue with syndicate's parkour was that the map was designed as an open area with pockets of parkour opportunities, rather than one big jungle gym that you could move through without ever touching the ground, cause it doesn't feel too different from unity's but there's just never any spaces to do it obviously the game is trying to push the player into using the grappling hook more, but it's really boring actually, the most use I get out of the grappling hook is setting up air assassinations that would've been otherwise impossible, but outside of that it's really an auto climb button that you can't cancel
They stripped the parkour from unity a whole bunch as well as the low profile assassinations, then the setting was less practical for parkour than unity so it’s just much worse. They did refine some animations, but it doesn’t justify taking so many other functions
That would be the case if the game was hard enough to FORCE you to use the zipline. It doesnt. Its just an extra gadget. I didnt use it for traversal, but I used it for stealth, hanging in the middle of a zipline between 2 buildings and then air assassinating targets. It actually enhanced my stealth experience without ruining parkour for me.
sydicate is has a refined parkour system that was present in unity. its fun and works, it feels like they kept the cool movements and the animations and mixed the refined system with the parkour we saw in previous games like AC 3,4, and etc. the grappling hook is really cool!
One thing i really miss from older ac games besides parkour is the training missions. There was something epic about seeing Ezio, Connor and shay undergoing training to become master assassins. While black flag didn't have any sorts of training but to some extent it was made believable by the fact that edward was a skilled pirate. unity and ac syndicate simply removed that aspect.
Wish we can have Unity's graphics (if possible, the better, today version of the engine they used) and parkour in the newer AC games. Those were something else
Syndicate makes me laugh. It’s an awesome game but I’ve been practicing parkour for over nine years and I can’t imagine doing it in an almost ten pound leather trench coat lol
I started the Assassin's creed series with Odessy and Valhala. After playing Unity, i realized why people are angry with the new games. But anyway, between these two, Unity has much more fun parkour in it. Sidycate is more simplystic.
Actually, Syndicate is much more polished and less buggy compared to Unity. They removed some features from Syndicate, like the side wall eject and the controlled descent, but they made the character interactions with the environment smoother and natural. In Unity, there are moments you'd see that your character isn't really doing what you wanted him to do, and that sucked.
Keep in mind, He was probably houding the parkour up button in Unity which forces Arno to make the furthest possible jumps that he can. If you don’t hold it you’ll do much shorter jumps and it’s more fun because you get to control how far he jumps by holding or not holding it

It's made by Quebec, they did Odyssey and Syndicate. They're known for making the worlds too big for parkour to ever really be effective. So enjoy ten minutes of holding down the left thumb stick riding a horse just to reach the mission objective.
Wtf is AC Japan
@@irgendeinname9256 AC codename red, haven't you heard?
@@sheogorathz no i thought the next assassin's Creed will be mirage
I loved the multiplayer mode on Unity, being able to do stealth missions with others and do some really sneaky kills with a teammate was so awesome.
Unity looks like the cool parkour when you think about parkour
Has more moves, more fluid but feel like the character is paper which makes it really not good in my opinion so I'll take Syndicate
And Syndicate just doesnt allow good parkour due to the world and you dont have jumps
Man, I've been wanting to play AC Unity since when i was 7. And i haven't got a chance to play it yet. I have feelingd for that game!
They should have made one more game with these mechanics. Feels like a waste to have just two
Hopefully Mirage
Technically you had the dlc missions in both games but yeah a third game with the actual stealth gameplay features would have been nice
Assassins Creed Valhalla is much more better

@@-AK-mirage uses valhalla assetes and physics. Like i know also same animation style only faster. Sadly 😢
They are the same but for some reason, I can feel teh pressure on Jacob's body but not Arno's 💀
Unity и Syndicate заставили вновь появиться многолетнему спору, кто же круче, Франция или Британия
I love Unity’s more advanced parkour! I sure hope it doesn’t get dumbed down and worsened literally one game later! 😐
Are you saying ac syndicate has bad parkour? It mean its not the best, but not the worst....
@@SaeedAlhaddad-g7c I’m saying Syndicate has bad everything, it’s awful
@@mistertwister2000 I mean that's your opinion, I just finished Syndicate and looking to buy unity as well, but yeah.
@@SaeedAlhaddad-g7c I know it’s just my opinion, if you disagree that’s fine it’s no skin off my nose
@@mistertwister2000 okay
It's really impressive how well these hold up visually.
AC Unity epic/best parkour
When assassin's creed was really assassin's creed
Unity: has access to really cool outfits, wears literal rags.
Syndicate: the idea of a dude in a leather trenchcoat and a top hat hopping and leaping around the structures is so strange.
Jacob is actually better
His hat is still on after all of this
I bet he just sticks glue on it
For syndicate they just basically took the Unity parkour system which was great and then refined it a little bit, by refined I mean they fixed some of the bugs and glitches and actually shortened the plyometric and stride jump distance which made it more realistic, BUT the reason why Unity is still better is because in Syndicate you don't have a jump button, or a MANUAL jump button I should say, which means you can't jump of ledges and buildings if there isn't a designated landing spot, which sucks and takes away your freedom while moving around the world.
I barely remember doing parkour in syndicate.😂
Assassins Creed Valhalla is much more better
ua-cam.com/video/9RLFTsE4wyc/v-deo.html
While the parkour is much more user friendly and much faster than previous titles, it really just looks like they're floating around. That one of Arno hopping over a spot Ezio would normally hit, he looked like he sprouted wings lol
Yeah because the idiot controlling him keeps holding the damn A or X button when he doesn't need to, he sucks at parkour
Unity feels so much real and so good doing parkour
Nah
arno is quite literally Flying wdym it feels more real
I played odyssey and i must say watching this one here is a real pleasure lol
He should have gone after Shay Cormac
Best parkour moves was in AC 2, AC Brotherhood and AC Revelations
syndicate is way more realistic in parkour than unity
arno randomly flies around
That's because he is french and french knows parkour, the do not fear the heights.
Pretty sure that’s because the person playing keeps pressing the jump button instead of free running, and I am losing my mind watching this video because unity has such good parkour and this video just doesn’t show it.
A Zipline of the length of the big Ben sure is realistic
Bro really just went a straight forward a he could in Unity and showed how good the parkour system is 😭
Unity has a weird element to it where Arno has the ability to float way longer than he should.
Arno's parkour was cooler, but the parkour in Syndicate was much more realistic. Arno was just kinda floating, but Jacob had weight
my issue with syndicate's parkour was that the map was designed as an open area with pockets of parkour opportunities, rather than one big jungle gym that you could move through without ever touching the ground, cause it doesn't feel too different from unity's but there's just never any spaces to do it
obviously the game is trying to push the player into using the grappling hook more, but it's really boring actually, the most use I get out of the grappling hook is setting up air assassinations that would've been otherwise impossible, but outside of that it's really an auto climb button that you can't cancel
Parkour in Unity just feels like you an airbender fr
Looks like Arno doesn’t even jump, he just levitates from building to building. Syndicate at least looks more practical and respects weight
Arno has the best parkour you've ever seen, Then casually he starts floating
Unity is good but it feels like you're flying
ive been playing all the games in order and right now im on ac 3 and the parkour in that vs these is crazy like in these examples looks so smooth
Unity has the best parkour 🤓🤓🤓🤓
Fans criticize Unity and Syndicate to make Ubisoft regret them...Ubisoft releases Odyssey and Valhalla to make players regret criticizing those games.
Unity is something else
They stripped the parkour from unity a whole bunch as well as the low profile assassinations, then the setting was less practical for parkour than unity so it’s just much worse. They did refine some animations, but it doesn’t justify taking so many other functions
The reason why Ac Unitys parkour is better than Syndicates is because the camera is zoomed out meaning that you see where to move next.
No there is much more to it
Unity with Syndicate’s performance would have been magical
Saddest Unity parkour I’ve ever seen
Jacob running will forever be goofy to me with the way his shoulders move
syndicates is way cleaner
I didn't get a chance to play Unity, but I loved Syndicate 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Parkour is almost non existent once you got the Zipline gadget.
Assassins Creed Valhalla is much more better
ua-cam.com/video/9RLFTsE4wyc/v-deo.html
You know you can just... Not use it.
Did you just saw the whole video ? Did he use zipline ? Then why do you?
Just don't use it
That would be the case if the game was hard enough to FORCE you to use the zipline.
I prefer Evie for parkouring
yeah I can see why people say Unity has very unrealistic parkour. that isn't how physics work.
Syndicate Wins
One thing i really miss from older ac games besides parkour is the training missions. There was something epic about seeing Ezio, Connor and shay undergoing training to become master assassins. While black flag didn't have any sorts of training but to some extent it was made believable by the fact that edward was a skilled pirate. unity and ac syndicate simply removed that aspect.
Unity is the best parkour
No Ac Revelations does
I think we need at least a “circuit” most similar, the second race was so different from the first, good video btw
W syndicate
I wish they had made Syndicate a wild west style cowboy game since it's based in 1868, imagine a cowboy assassin 🔥
Aise bada bhai ho toh dushman ki kya jarurat...Saying this as a Bada bhai💀
Wish we can have Unity's graphics (if possible, the better, today version of the engine they used) and parkour in the newer AC games. Those were something else
Syndicate makes me laugh. It’s an awesome game but I’ve been practicing parkour for over nine years and I can’t imagine doing it in an almost ten pound leather trench coat lol
Arno looks like jumps on an invisible hoverboard for 2 seconds when jumping
If you don’t hold it you’ll do much shorter jumps and it’s more fun because you get to control how far he jumps by holding or not holding it
Your outfit in syndicate looks like Jack the rippers clothing in the syndicate DLC
jacobs hat is glued to his head 💀
these games just seem floating characters unlike other ac games which looked like taking effort
AC Unity had the Smoothest Parkour system, but, My heart lies with the precision Parkour system of AC 1 and Ezio Trilogy.
I remember loving the gameplay of these games when the first came out cause l didn't have pc or console and l only played them on a Internet cafe.❤❤
