As cool as a twisting spike would be, I don't think it needs to rotate much more than 180 degrees. If you sit in the back of the train, you'll be facing Valravn and Raptor at the apex. And if you're in the middle or front of the train, you'd have a nice (split-second) view of the main midway, Boardwalk, and Gatekeeper. And 5 seconds later, you'll be blasted to 120 mph and beyond. Can't wait to see what Cedar Point does with this - even a 150 ft vertical spike will look awesome against Rougarou's lift!
I feel like such a wet rag, but I am still grieving the acceleration levels going from the hydraulic launch to LSM 2.0. We need Tesla to design ELSM and motorize the train.
