150 years ago today there was no South Melbourne (Cecil Football Club), no "swans" (1933) and they didn't wear red & white either (1880), donning green and yellow between 1874 up until their amalgamation with Albert Park (who wore red & white). Albert Park FC were actually the original South Melbourne FC (1867) up until they changed their name to Albert Park in 1868.
Why couldn't they just leave out the women. They have there own league do not try and incorporate them into the male team. Are we so woke now that women's AFL are equal to men's AFL and very soon we will have the trans AFL.
