This confused me too! Don’t worry. So for round three do 2 double crochet into the first 8 stitches then 1 double crochet into the remaining 8 stitches. This should give you 24 at the end of round 3.

i don’t understand this i need it in more detail, my circle is way smaller than shown in the video and i don’t know what i’m doing wrong
im also running out of sunflower wool as i used it in the mickey and minnie square
U must not be doing enough increases in the rounds?
if its coming out small then you need a slightly bigger hook in most cases
