Hobby Lobby Disney Winnie the Pooh Crochet Kit Tutorial-Pooh-Ears to Legs

- This is a tutorial meant to help beginner crocheters follow this pattern from Hobby Lobby. This video covers the ears, arms, nose, and legs of Winnie the Pooh. I am not affiliated with Disney; I just like making things.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
Psalm 40:16
Wow 😮so much help I can’t even get passed the beginning
If you're having trouble with starting, I have a video where I go over the magic circle and the chain 2 method that might help. Starting is often the hardest part!
SAME!!!
Frr
Is there a part 2? I got this kit last year in summer but i had trouble understanding the instructions
Part 2 is filmed, but not edited and uploaded yet! Hopefully soon!
I am on my last round of Pooh's body and there's no way I'll have enough red yarn for the arms...what kind of yarn is this??
Mine definitely didn’t come with the right colors for piglet. Crazy how we have the same box but different stuff in it
opened it up and it didn’t even come with a crochet hook :(
I'm sad to hear it. I've had a couple of the kits come short of yarn as well. And I've had one other person mention their kit missing a hook. You should be able to return/exchange it though.
❤wanted to say thank you, because the legs had me LOST!! Also, before I found this or even thought to search for help, lol, I found out about the missing color change for pooh’s shirt….well, pooh just has a really short shirt now, lol 🤷🏼♀️😂
Haha, you're welcome! His shirt has always been a little short, anyway!
Thanks for making these helpful tutorials! Can you try the Stitch and Scrump kit from Hobby Lobby? I recently got it and I can’t figure out how to start Scrump’s legs for the life of me! Again, thanks for making these videos! They’re incredibly helpful!
You're welcome! I will try to get them soon. I had another request for stitch but they mentioned it being at 5 below- I'm not sure whether they are selling the same kit at both places, but i can always do both if they end up being different.
just did the ears, looking forward to doing the rest tomorrow!! will there be a piglet tutorial too?!
Awesome! I am planning to do a piglet one as well!
Im stuck on Rnd 3 for the body! I cant wait for your next video so i can keep following along and make a Pooh (first crochet project ever😂)
Aww that's so exciting, working on your first project! The next Pooh video is already recorded, I just have to edit and upload.
Poor thing this is my like 3rd and Lord this kit is a mess!! 😂
i haven’t really even been able to get anything done with this kit because I can’t work with the yarn provided, I constantly is trying to fray and I can’t use that small of a hook either
Ive never crocheted before and i really love winnie the pooh......i just cant keep up and its too complicated 😞
It can be really hard when you start! If there is anything specific you need more information on, let me know. A lot of people struggle with the magic circle at first, and I have a separate video that goes over that method in more depth.
@@nittlesandnattles thank you
Help!! I am on round 4 body and am coming up with 28sc instead of 30sc. Any help troubleshooting what I’m doing wrong?
Hello! Are you still having this issue? I have been busy with college classes and didn't see this earlier. I can take a look tomorrow and see what might be happening.
Awesome. I didn't think these videos were to be made because of copyright laws. If this is ok, would you be willing to do more things like stitch and baby Yoda. I think they came from 5 Below.
I honestly was concerned about that too but UA-cam does copyright checks before you upload and so far there hasn't been an issue. I'm not very familiar with this type of stuff but if UA-cam isn't saying anything to me, I'm assuming it's fine. I can keep an eye out for those kits-i think I have seen the stitch one at hobby lobby.
@@nittlesandnattles I think I saw it there too
@@jenreeves7684 I'll take a look for that one and for a baby Yoda one
@@nittlesandnattles thanks. I'm glad to be a part of your UA-cam family.
I checked hobby lobby and saw a Yoda and Leia kit. Is that the one you mean, or is there one at 5 below that is just baby Yoda?
What size hook are you using? Mine came with 2.5 mm and yours looks bigger
I'm using the one provided in the kit, but I can check the kit tomorrow and make sure it's the same size.
The magic ring is messing me up 😭😭😭 I cannot for the life of me do this magic ring to even start it!!!
I hear you. There is an alternate start you can do. I have a video where I cover the magic circle and the chain 2 method more in depth. If you can't get the hang of the magic circle, try out the chain 2 method. I can link the video here in a comment for you.

Hopefully this can help! The magic circle is really confusing at first for a lot of people. I don't remember off of the top of my head how many single crochet they do so it may not be 6 like in the video.
Omg! I just did poohs body. I realized after the instructions never said to switch to red. What round do I switch to red? I guess I’m starting over
Yeah I do the same thing. I can check the video for the body for which row I decide to switch in. I just counted on the box and picked a row.
I changed at the end of 7, beginning of 8
Are my loops supposed to be loose??
Most likely not. You generally want your loops to be small and even, but not overtight. You should be able to slide your hook through the loop smoothly, but not really feel like the hook will fall out of the loop if you let go, if that makes sense. Tension (how tightly you hold your yarn and tighten your stitches) is different for everyone, but if it is too loose it will cause gapping.
is there a video for piglet?
There isn't yet, but I plan to make one.
mine didn’t come with the other yellow :(
The smaller bundle of yellow? I was wondering if mine was a return and if it was supposed to be all one ball of yellow. It's the same yellow, so maybe your one bundle is a little bigger than mine? Hopefully it works out!
BRO MY KIT CAME WITH NO EYES OR NOSE FOR PIGLET
just got this and found this video just for the pooh nose! they were so vague about the black thread and where to sew from i was annoyed lol
Oh absolutely vague. And mine ended up kind of small because I sort of got impatient-embroidery is not my cup of tea. The only reason I had any ideas of how to do the nose is just from other patterns/videos I've seen before. In this one, they just give you nothing.
I can’t even get past the first step of making the magic ring 😭
Please do grogu and Leila!!❤️😊
Is that from hobby lobby? Somebody had asked for one from 5 below and I had trouble finding it.
Wow thanks for showing us how to do it I came even get past the first step your moving to fast and your camera is WAYY to far away 😊
Thanks! I got this kit and I'll be doing it! Btw is this part 1?
You're welcome! Yes, this pattern started with the smaller pieces so this is the first video. I hope to do the next video this week.
The whole beginning is a blur for me
Uhm… I can’t really see the camera
If the video is blurry, adjusting the video quality in the settings should help. If it's more of a lighting issue, I can't really fix it, unfortunately. But if there is a specific part that is hard to see, I may be able to record another demonstration of that area.
38:30 color switch
I'm not sure what this is referring to.
Yall I can’t even do the first step of the ears what 😭
The magic circle is difficult to get the hang of, and there is another option you could try instead. I have a video that goes over the magic circle and chain 2 option that may help. Sorry for taking so long to reply! I got busy with college the last few weeks.

You are confusing
I'm sorry to hear that, but if there is anything in particular you find confusing and you let me know, I can try to make that part more clear.
XNo help
Sorry to hear that, which part are you struggling with specifically?
You don’t help at all
It's unfortunate that it isn't helpful for you. What area is unclear? I may be able to better explain.
