Rick, will help a lot now with nervous tension, playing Thursday in open day for seniors, will let you know if it worked. You should have no nerves with that swing. Will follow rest of videos.
Fantastic advice... Would like to add: 1) Embrace the moment and WANT to hit a good shot 2) Your best at that time may end up bad... and that's ok b/c that's golf 3) After a great 1st tee shot I'm usually less focused than I would had I hit a below avg tee shot.
Nice video Rick. Just one note if you or your guest is going to spend a lot of time facing away from the camera microphone it might be worth getting one you can attach to your shirt so the audio doesn't suffer.
I like the putting green before I tee off it’s helped me score on the first holes

Playing in the Lombard Trophy on Thursday which will be my first ever ProAm and bricking it!
The first half of this video gave me more things to be nervous of. Thanks a bunch Rick.🤣
Nothing like a quick pint prior to the first tee to relax the nerves.
I’m playing my first big comp today Rick, thanks for the video 👍
Another great video, looking at the way the mind works. This can be applied to anything in life, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ninja_Prime
I think the best advice I have seen given, is by Mike Malaska : Don’t fear the bad shot, just play your round accepting bad shots and mistakes.

Cheers Rick great vid.
Thanks for the positive feedback guys. The key is to keep it simple!
The way rick keeps looking at the camera after he's said something! The David Brent of the golfing world
Thanks for the comment
What do you look like in this video rick 🤣
IMO the fact that you use or think you need to consult a sports psychologist shows mental weakness to begin with.
