I bought the Volan 160 in carbon Kevlar. It’s one sweet yak. Very responsive, requires less effort to navigate than any yak I have paddled. I’m 5’11” 210 lbs 36” waist. The fit is more snug than I’m used too. My thighs are up against the comb brace, not tight but their, you can’t move your thigh positions in this yak other than feet spread or together. I’m getting used to it ! It’s very fast playful when Skeg is up and tracks like it’s on rails Skeg down. A half down Skeg is best of both. I truly enjoy my Volan 160 I’ll soon be 63 !
