Peter Rivera, lead singer of classic rock/R&B band Rare Earth, performs "Get Ready". The Caravan of Star 39 held at The Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, TN was to be May 2020, but was rescheduled due to the pandemic until October 31, 2020.

This version is a little scaled back from the original 21 minute version. That being said he still has the voice after all these years and still banging on the drums. Been a fan since the seventies and still listening to Rare Earth in 2021.

Amazing that he still sounds and plays like 50+ years ago. Only a handful of people have been able to obtain this vocal range for so many years, and I can only think of one at the moment. Tom Jones.

I think RARE EARTH was the Only WHITE band on Motown Records AND most of their record buyers thought that they WERE Black! They definitely had Soul! Mitch.
