Another good breakdown! I’m curious too as to what the Sea Monster event will mean long term. Maybe because on the one hand you have Pharazon ‘chosen’ by the Eagle, and Miriel favoured by the Sea Beast, perhaps that stalemate will be why the people of Numenor are going to force them into marriage - if the show sticks to that Lore anyway. And they seem to be pushing some kind of romance between Miriel and Elendil, so I suppose it would make some extra drama if that’s where the plot is going. Also wondering if this relentless path of failure Galadriel is taking is going to lead to some form of split personality. Like we see in the Jackson movies where Blanchett seems to have a Jekyll/Hyde duality (since Amazon enjoy endlessly regurgitating movie tropes). Anyway, onwards and hopefully upwards!
Interesting theory. I do hope they stick to the lore here, as disturbing as it is. It’s so important to the Fall of Númenor. And yeah, I could see something happening with Galadriel like that. That’s not lore accurate, but it could be interesting if done correctly. Thanks for watching!
