correcting: the dupe glitch with alt f4 works on any version, they didn't fix it; they fixed a very minor furniture (tombstone) dupe using sand, which I think only played a role in the journey run. And in description you said RSG, which more commonly refers to random seed glitchless, not glitched.

There is a spot on beehives which allows you to sorta just spam them, filling up the entity limit to the (almost) maximum and only allowing one more entity to spawn - AKA a single boss. Terraria is dumb so the pillars not being there makes it think you killed them all, spawning the moon lord and allowing you to skip the pillars.
I actually watched a 1.4 speedrun recently, and it looks so much different. They use beehives to spawn master mode bees, then change back ti journey mode, then the boss hits it and dies. No questions asked, just dead.

Using two filled chests to prevent the dynamite from destroying the blocks while fighting Big Boi Mechworm... I didn’t think of that. I always just used some ore that couldn’t be blown up with explosives.
Terraria only allocates 200 slots for NPCs. You can only have 200 enemies at once, if you try to add any more it just doesn't work, so the bosses spawn without certain parts
The Graveyard mini-biome's Ectoplasm Mist lets you craft what are normally naturally occuring objects and Hive Blocks lets you create the nests that spawn in the Jungle which he uses to fill up the NPC limit.
